I woke up and felt Clay's heart beating. I looked up at him to see him still asleep. He looked precious. I looked over at the clock to see it was already 10 am. We both must've been exhausted after last night. Clay stirred, and woke up slowly.

"Good morning Georgie. How did you sleep?"

"Very good actually, you are very comfortable." Clay laughed and sat up, checking the time.

"Damn we slept late. Wanna go see if my mom made breakfast?" He asked, standing up and stretching. His shirt lifted up revealing the top part of his boxers, which made my face go red.

"Yea sure." I followed him down the stairs to see Clay's mom in the kitchen. The smell of bacon sizzling hit my nose, making my stomach growl.

"Good morning boys. Henry and Matt are still asleep, I was up late with them trying to calm everyone."

"Is Henry doing alright?" I asked, as I sat down at the breakfast nook. Clay's mom slid me a plate with some french toast on it.

"Yes he's ok, bacon is coming up soon." She said, turning around to cook some more pieces of bacon.

"Did you ask him why he did it? Was it something I could've prevented?" I asked, my eyes starting to water.

"Oh honey no, it's not your fault," Clay's mom walked around the breakfast nook and gave me a hug, holding my head to her chest, "your father was just being his normal self, and he's just very stressed out from everything going on. It's not your fault at all. And he told me about what happened to you, George you know i'm here for you." She rubbed her hand up and down my arm. Henry must've told her how I cut myself too.

Clay put his hand on my knee, and looked at me with a saddened look. "Thank you guys, really. Who knows where i'd be without you." I said, tears falling from my face.

"Oh honey of course. We're glad we could be here for you and Henry." Clay's mom hugged me once more and walked back over to cook the bacon.

I looked over at Clay, who wiped a tear away from my cheek with his thumb. "Are you alright George" he asked, putting his hand back on my knee.

"Yea i'm ok, thanks." I took my fork and dipped a piece of french toast into my syrup. Clay's mom then slid over a plate with bacon on it. Clay immediately reached over and grabbed some, dumping them on his plate.

Henry and Matt then walked down the stairs. Henry's hair was a mess, and he had bags under his eyes. I ran over to him and gave him a huge hug.

"Are you ok Henry?" I asked, running my hand through his hair. I felt him sniffling into my shirt.

"I'm ok, i'm so sorry." He said back, gripping the back of my shirt.

"Don't be sorry. It's ok. You're going to be alright I promise."

Clay then walked over and hugged both of us, we hadn't let go of each other yet. He put one arm around my back and one around Henry's, and he leaned his head down and rested it on mine.

"I love you guys. I'm here for you." He said, tears falling from his eyes onto my head. Matt then walked over and joined in the hug.

"We're all here for each other." Matt said, also starting to tear up.

We all stayed in the group hug, crying, for a few minutes. Eventually everyone stopped crying and we sat down to eat. Henry didn't seem to want to eat, so I pointed at his plate to get him to. Who knows when the last time he ate was. He reluctantly picked up his fork and started to eat slowly. He was wearing one of Matt's sweatshirts to cover his arms, which I assumed were covered in bandages like mine had.

"How about you boys stay all weekend, and then you can walk to school together on Monday?" Clay's mom suggested. Henry and I liked the sound of that idea, since we both nodded almost immediately.

"Ok great, after you eat, you guys can walk to your house to grab whatever you need for tomorrow and Monday."

We all finished eating and brought our dishes to the sink. We then all grabbed our shoes and walked out the door, heading towards Henry and I's house.

We arrived to see our dads car not in the driveway, which was relieving. We didn't have to see him until Monday, although he wouldn't even notice we were gone unless he needed something. We all walked in and went to our rooms. Clay sat down on my bed, looking all around.

"I've never really gotten a good look at your room before. It's nice in here." He said, laying back on my bed.

I kept my room surprisingly clean, mostly to avoid yelling from my father. My gaming set up was on the far wall, away from the door, so my dad couldn't break it as easily. I packed a bag with two pairs of clothes, some pajamas, and anything I needed for school on Monday. I also slipped on Clay's hoodie since it was cold outside.

"You really like that hoodie." Clay pointed out.

"Yea it's comfy." I said back, smiling. "You ready?"

"Yep."

We walked out of my room to be greeted by Henry and Matt. We all walked out together and towards Clay's house. I turned around to see my dad's car pulling into our driveway. Perfect timing, I thought to myself. Henry seemed to be thinking the same thing, since he also had turned around and smirked at me.

We spent the rest of the day relaxing in Clay's room, playing a bit of Minecraft with Nick. We had a nice dinner with Clay's parents as well. We had chicken parmesan, which was Henry and I's favorite meal that Clay's family made. After dinner, Clay and I decided to watch the first two Harry Potter movies, since Clay had never seen them. By the time we were done, it was already midnight.

"Hey are you tired at all?" Clay asked me, once we finished the second movie.

"Surprisingly no."

"Follow me then, we can do something cool." Clay walked over to his window and opened it. He crawled out and sat down on the roof that was below his window. "Come sit with me." He said, patting the roof next to him. I slowly crawled out and sat down next to him.

"This is cool." I said, looking at the stars in the sky.

"I do this a lot when I want to be alone at night. I just sit here and look at the stars. It's relaxing almost" Clay said, looking up at the sky.

We both sat and looked at the stars, it was almost mesmerizing. Clay then spoke, breaking my trance.

"It's unfair you know." I was confused by the comment he had randomly made.

"What's unfair?"

"The life you and Henry have to live. It's unfair."

"How is that?" I agreed with him, but I wanted to hear his thoughts.

"You both are such good people. You deserve more than what you have."

"Yea I guess, but things always happen for a reason right?"

"Yea I believe that too. I wonder why this is all happening to you." Clay said, looking over at me.

"I have no clue, but for now, i'm just broken." I moved closer to Clay, our shoulders now touching.

"It's ok, George, we can be broken together."

I rested my head on his shoulder. He then rested his head on mine. We sat, looking at the stars, being broken together.
