Ah, another normal sleepover. Or so we thought. It was storming badly outside. We were in the middle of watching Captain America the Winter Soldier when lightning struck really close to the house, and all the power went out... Including the TV.
"Damn it." I stated flatly.
"Hey what's that?" Kylie asked, pointing to a little ball of green light. "Dunno. We should poke it!!"
"NO!" Yelled Katea. She dragged Bocchan along to stop us, but it was too late... Kylie and I had touched the light. This resulted in a chain reaction from Katea and Bocchan, who were attempting to hold us back. It had touched us all... And knocked us out.
"Ughhh..." I groaned, my eyes flickering open.
Wait. Why were they fuzzy?!
"Uh guys?" Then I saw it. My own body waking up across the room. "AAHHHHHHHHH!" I'M POSSESSED!"
"Why the HELL is Kylie screaming with Patch's voice?!"
Asked Katea, only she had Kylie's voice.
"Holy shit.. We switched bodies!"
Said Bocchan who was occupying my body at the moment.
"anD I'M FUCKING TAN?!?" "LANGUAGE!!" Said Katea AKA Bocchan.
"Ooh I have muscles!" Said Kylie AKA Katea. "This is bloody confusing. We need to make a list of who is who here."
Katea, AKA Bocchan came up with this list:
Katea is in Bocchans body
Bocchan is in Patch's body
Patch is in Kylie's body
And Kylie is in Katea's body
(Now I will refer to everyone; not by their bodies, just their minds because I am incredibly lazy.)
"Well how do we get back?"
Asked Bocchan.
"Dunno... We need an exorcist!" Concluded Kylie.
"NO! I can't be caught in the human world, not to mention a whole other body." I stated.
"How did we do this in the first place?" Asked Katea.
"I don't know, my memory is fuzzy, but it's probably because I'm dumb."
"No. I remember. Lightning struck really close to the house, and there was a green light. The only way to switch us back would be to get hit by lightning."
"Wow okay.. I'm in!" Kylie happily explained.
"How do you know it will work?" I asked. "She's that smart." Katea interrupted.
"Yeah, you're right." Bocchan smirked. I looked at the radar.
"The storm is almost over, and we need to get hit, and quick. We need to grab a bunch of metal and basically pull a Ben Franklin."
So everyone ran to the garage, climbed onto the roof and prayed for the best.
"I sure hope you have body insurance." Joked Kylie. I stifled a laugh.
"My hair is standing up on end.." Katea observed.
"Get ready, we're gonna get h-" BANG!
"Ughhh" I groaned. I quickly realized what had happened. I looked at my arms. They were the color of a baked potato!
"IT WORKED!!" We were all cheering til the neighbors yelled out the window:
"SHUT THE HELL UP AND GO TO SLEEP!"
Everyone stood still for a second.
"OK KAREN!!" And with that, we came back inside, completely soaked.
"That was an adventure." Said Katea. And that's how we ended up with superpowers.
