the pair become close friends after that, and that was saying something for tonii, she doesn't like people :).
"hey hollywood" toni greeted vinnie with a long hug. "i can't believe you're leaving me here, who am i gonna talk to?" she play punched him in the arm.
"they don't mind visitors, so you can come anytime." he assured her whilst packing his bags.
"im gonna be stuck here in rainy seattle and you're going to beachy los angeles." she fake cried.
vinnie walked over and hugged her. "i'm gonna miss you"
"don't start any drama, and do not fuck any of those girls, we don't want you ending up like mattia" he laughed.
"i promise i won't" he kissed the top of her head.
there was no doubt they loved each other, but he loved her just a bit more. although they've only been friends for four years, it felt like a lifetime, she was really honest and didn't have a problem sharing what she thought. on the other hand, vinnie was really good at calming her down when she got worked up and giving great advice. the two worked in harmony.
vinnie's dad drove him to the airport and tonii came along. she sat in the back holding his hand while he sat in the front.
"tonii will tell me everything that she knows," he looked back at tonii for confirmation, "do not get into any trouble, just because you're eighteen doesn't mean you are an adult." his dad lectured him.
"i know dad"
"just stay safe vin" he calmed down.
vinnie's dad stayed in the car while tonii walked him in the airport.
"tell me when it's ok for me to visit, don't forget about me!"
"i assure you i won't, and once i get settled in you can come anytime."
he noticed the tears in her eyes, "don't cry, im only leaving for a few months"
"im not crying dork, i have an eyelash stuck in my eyes" she laughed.
they had one last hug and he walked to his terminal, he looked back and so did she..
"i miss you already" she mouthed.
"i love you" he mouthed.
tonii rolled her eyes and waved her last "bye" to her favorite redhead..

as he arrived in los angeles, all he could think about was tonii. they were inseparable and now he would have to be without her for weeks, but he told himself he would make more friends in the sway house.

"welcome to LA" kio greeted vinnie with an excited grin.
"damn i thought i would be picked up in a limo the way y'all. show it on tik tok" he said jokingly.
