"Erassstttooo! NO!"
She screeched in utter frustration and scrunched her nose looking at the crystal cup that held aromatic green tea.
"NO! I don't want to drink that dirty shit." Cici barked burying her face under the white sheets while Erasto rolled his eyes witnessing her 'menstrual' tantrums!
Poor man! What all was he supposed to witness?!
Pulling off the white sheets off her body, he ordered, "It's not dirty shit, it's green tea. And you need to drink it."
She rolled her eyes thinking here she was at the verge of puking just by the look of it and there he was running behind correcting her.
Giving him a snarky look she replied in a tight tone, "Okay fine I don't want that dirty, shitty green tea! I hate that!!"
"Baby girl! This will help!" He requested
"NO!!" She denied
"Hawwww! I hate these cramps!" She cried softly holding her abdomen and he hated seeing her in pain. Unable to control himself he walked towards the door only to be interrupted by her pain stricken tone, "Now, where are you going? I'm not drinking any other medicated tea or fruit or shit or whatever you choose to call it!"
Stopping in his tracks he turned around and replied back in a tone laced with urgency and panic, "I'm going to wake up zia."
"What? Why?" Her eyes almost popped out of her sockets hearing him while he simply justified saying, "Why? You are clearly in pain Cici and I'm sure zia knows how to make you feel better."
"Oh! Then why only momma? Why don't you wake up zia, nonna, and the entire house? If possible inform your men too about my pain because of these stupid menstrual cramps?!!" She suggested in the most sarcastic tone gritting her teeth while he actually stood rooted to the spot thinking about her suggestion.
"I think you are right. I will wake up ma, zia and nonna. They will know what to do. Just give me two minutes baby doll. You'll be fine." He said with a bright hopeful smile on his face while she gave him an amused dirty look.
"Erasto, I just got my periods which I get every month. I am not dying that you have to alert the entire household." She said in the most irritated tone rolling her eyes at him.
Well, can't blame that man for being that worried about his girl!!
"But..."
"No more buts! Just come here and hug me. I promise I will be better if you are with me. Please listen to me Erasto!" She pled giving him cute pout and this man gave in. When he sat on the edge of the bed next to her, she gave him a wide smile stating, "I don't need any tea or herbs or medicines. I just need you with me."
Smiling at her little declaration he pulled her slowly in his arms saying, "Come here!"
Rubbing the tip of his narrow nose with her short button one, she whispered "I love you" and he whispered back repeating the action with a sweet smile on his face, "I love you too dolcezza!"

It had been an hour past midnight when his phone started ringing. With Cici in his arms he had dozed off after their little sweet talks that night. He grabbed the phone from the night stand taking care not to wake her up. She was already in pain and the last thing he wanted was to disturb her peaceful sleep.
"Ricky?!"
Setting a pillow next to her and kissing her forehead, he walked into the balcony to receive the call.
