Somewhere in Beacon Hills... A small plastic quarantine tent sits within in a larger tented laboratory. The small tent is surrounded by a circle of powdered . There was growling coming from within. A lab coated man enters, sat at a work table, and began making notations. He drank tea while inside the smaller tent a werewolf, oozing black goo from his eyes and mouth, reaches out feebly with a clawed hand. The man presses play on a cassette player, the voice on the tape says:
"After entering the IP address you will be connected through a dark net portal to an untraceable bank. Once logged in enter your account number to receive wire transfers. The IP address will deactivate..."
Scott's POV... The voice continues on a boombox in bedroom:
"...with each transfer. You will be assigned a new transfer if you choose to continue down the list. Remember, visual confirmation is always required for payment. "
Stiles pressed stop on the boombox tape player. Stiles and I, admitted we don't understand what the voice was talking about, because we've never had enough money to require a wire transfer. I also don't understand The Benefactor's motivation for using all the Hale's money to kill me and the other Beacon Hills supernaturals. I picked up the money (taken from Garrett's locker) and begins to stow it under the bed. Stiles wanted to know what my plans to do with the half million dollars. I wanted to give it back to Derek Hale, but Stiles is hesitant to give the money back. He reminded me that the money also belongs to a, "homicidal killer," Peter Hale. We were interrupted by Malia Tate, before we could finish our discussion of what to do with the money. She explained, " That Derek and her found Satmoi's pack and they're dead. At the Hospital... Derek's POV... I arrived at Beacon Hills Hospital carrying Breadon, I announced to Melissa McCall that Breadon's been shot and I think she's dying. Outside of Beacon Hills Animal Clinic... Dr. Deaton's POV... I was locking up when I sensed someone behind me, I whipped out a telescopic baton weapon. I turned and swung at a hooded foe, the person ducked and attacked with what appears to be a foot-long metal spike. After a few parries and thrusts... I stopped, bow and said, " You could have called, Satomi-san." Under the hood we see Satomi, her eyes glowed red. Saturday... Kira, Malia, Stiles and I were at school for the PSAT (Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test). Apparently, Lydia took the test when she was a freshman. Malia is reluctant to take the exam, but both I said, " She studied harder than any of them and adds that "while we're trying not to die, we still need to live." I told them, " If he survives high school he would like to go to college, "a good college." " And I want to make Christine proud of me, because I can take care of all three of us." I told them while in thought. " Oh, yeah! Your taking me too. Oh, wait your talking about the babies." Stiles told us all excited. ( I didn't know that we were having twins, until Lydia told me after she read it). Kira's POV... I pointed out that the test only takes three hours to complete and, "we can survive three hours." Scott's POV... Each student is required to place their fingerprint on their answer sheet. The security measure is an effort to keep students from paying others to take the test for them. I pressed my thumb into the provided ink pad and applies it to the paper. Then I was handed a booklet by teacher who we can see is the same man we saw in the lab at the beginning of the show. Students are also required to give up their cell phones for the duration of the test. ( Lydia's Mother) Natalie Martin's POV... I took everyone teen that was taking a test's cellphone, before they do take a test, I placed it in an individual, numbered, envelope. The test is supposed to run 2 hours and 10 minutes. The Chemist's POV... " The Chemist," explains that it consists of, "two 25 minute critical reading sections, two 25 minute Math sections and an essay writing portion that will last 30 minutes." Natalie Martin's POV... He then turns to me and told me, " There should be two teachers monitoring the exam." I explained, " that Finstock is not exactly punctual." I stepped into the hall to try to call him "again." I noticed his office door at the end of the hall and decides to check there. I found him passed out on his desk and I believed he was drunk. I was disappointed, and said, " He had, "15 years of sobriety," and fell off the wagon at school. I tried to revive him, but I had no luck. I reported this back to, "The Chemist," that I couldn't find Coach, but offers. Instead to get Mr. Yukimura who is upstairs grading papers. He told me, " They need to start the test, but will seek out the other teacher during the first break." He started the test. Scott's POV... I seem to know the answers and is quickly filling in the bubbles on my answer sheet. Stiles seemed surprised by one of the questions, while Malia seemed stumped by the whole process. A girl sitting over one row and behind Stiles collapses to the floor (Natalie Martin calls her Sydney). Mrs. Martin noticed a pattern of red and white welts on the girl's arm. The girl said, " She doesn't know when the rash developed." Natalie Martin's POV... I told the girl, " Everything is fine," and the girl sat back down to resume the test, but then I took my phone and ordered, " That no one should leave the room." I immediately go to Coach's Office, and I checked his wrists. There is no rash on his arms, then I lifted his shirt and found his back is covered with large red and white welts. I stepped back into the hall and seeing several students entering the school from the opposite end of the hall. I started to scream at them to get back outside, running down the hall to lock the door behind them. Scott's POV... I heard the commotion in the hall, the students taking the PSAT, including me, rushed outside. She shouted at us, " Return to your seats!" Natalie's POV... Once they're gone, I dialed operator assistance on my phone seeking the number for the Centers for Disease Control. Agents with the CDC, dressed head to toe in yellow bio-hazard suits, enter the school. They proceed to set up a quarantine area in one of the larger classrooms. They have two rows of beds, each is covered by a clear plastic tent. The outside of the school is also covered in clear plastic. Outside of the High School... Sheriff Stilinski's POV... I arrived outside the school, Bio-suited men and women are rushing back and forth. I asked one CDC worker, " For an update." She told me, " The incident is a, "hopefully a false alarm," but that the details provided have concerned the CDC and local health authorities enough to order a quarantine. I told her, " That my son is in the school," which I said, " Won't be a conflict but is stressful." Inside of the High School... Scott's POV... While tending to Sydney, Natalie explained to me, " That they are planning to isolate the sick and wait for instructions. She told me, " If she's wrong the CDC will be out pretty quickly and she'll be, "the crazy biology teacher who panicked for nothing." Sydney was very upset, " I assured her that she will be okay," but she is not worried about her health. Sydney is worried about the PSAT because it is the qualifying test for the National Merit Scholarship and without it her parents can't afford to send her to college. I told her, " I'm sure they'll let her take it again." Stiles's POV... I told Malia and Kira," That I heard the CDC thinks it is Smallpox." "The Chemist," who was eavesdropping, told us, " That is not likely because Smallpox is one of two viruses that have been completely eradicated from the planet." He told us, " The other extinct disease is Rinderpest." Malia's POV... I tuned my enhanced hearing on the workers outside the school. I told Stiles, " They seem to be taking it very seriously and that his dad is there." Stiles told us, " He should call him," and reaches for his phone but, "The Chemist," said, " The phone will not work because CDC shut down all communications around the school to avoid a public panic." Back at the Beacon Hills Animal Clinic... Dr. Deaton's POV... Satomi and I brought one of her sick male Betas into the animal clinic. She explained how the disease progressed in her pack. It starts with fever followed by uncontrolled shifts including, "full unwarranted transformations," trouble standing, and sudden blindness. After the victims lost their eyesight, they had only a few minutes left." Satomi explained, " That they moved into the woods during more of her pack became ill." I told her, " They need to get him to a hospital." Satomi told me, " That's never really been "an option for our kind." But, I told her, " I knows someone who could help." At the Hospital... Melissa's POV... ( Today, would be Christine's 1st Month of Pregnancy).
