PART 5

Y/n's POV

"Okay! Okay! I am sorry, I did not know" sanbae apologised which wasn't heartfelt.

"Enough about me and him what are you doing here?" Tae questioned as he tried to diffuse the awkwardness.

"I and Jen laughed in Mrs Choi's class, nothing serious" I answered.

"What were you both talking about that made you both laugh so loud that got both of you detention" Tae further inquired.

"It was nothing. You know how she is, right. Jen tell him how strict she is about these things" you answered awkwardly as you remember what you both were laughing about.

"Yeah that Mrs Choi is a bitch. She can not breadth properly if anyone is happy in her class. I bet college is not giving her maternity leave that's why she is all annoyed all the time." Jen spoke her heart out about Mrs Choi mindlessly. While Tae blinked at her in bewilderment for her honesty, but for me and Namjoon sanbae, it was normal, Jen.

"Is she always like this" Tae mouthed as Jen and Namjoon sanbae were staring into each other's eyes, while I nodded my head as yes.

3rd Person's POV

One month had passed and it was the last day of the detention for Namjoon and Taehyung. Just like she promised Namjoon she use to accompany him every day at the ddetention room, so did you as you didn't want Taehyung to feel left out with them always being lovey-dovey. Then it use to get real awkward when they would just start kissing each other right between the detention room.

So from past few weeks both of you had started sitting separately from them for two reasons. First to give them privacy and second, so that you two could feel less awkward.

"You sure nothing is going on between them" Namjoon questioned as he looked towards the direction of you and Taehyung, who were busy arguing about which colour you should put as the background of your painting.

"Honestly, at this point, I don't think even they know what is going on between them. When you ask them, they straight up deny but they act like they are in a relationship. The whole third year thinks that they are dating, but in reality, they are not dating. At least not yet." Jen let her mind speak as she put a lot of emphasis on the word yet.

"You know I also think you should have not hit Taehyung that day, you could have just bribed the supervisor with food like us, instead of creating a scene" Jen further added on.

"I did it for you," Namjoon said with his puppy eyes.

"I know, but you should apologise to him at least. He is sitting here because of you from the past month. I feel bad for him" She again attempted to make Namjoon apologise to Taehyung.

"It's the last day, come on. A simple sorry won't hurt you. Please do it, for me." Now Jen was using her puppy eyes.

"Fine! Only for you, I am doing this." Namjoon finally gave in, after a month of nagging by Jen.

Then the both of them approached the table you and Taehyung we're sitting on. Namjoon pulled two chairs for himself and Jen and after being comfortable in the chair he finally said those three magical words "I am sorry" to Taehyung.

Without making it awkward Taehyung accepted his apology, as he knew it was difficult for him to do it.

"So, friends?" Namjoon asked as he let out his right hand for a shake.

"Friends!" Taehyung said as he accepted his hand and the friendship.

"You both should come and sit with us during lunch" the older one suggested as you had begun to pack your things as it was finally time to go to work since due to detention you couldn't go home and rest for a bit.

Taehyung again looked at you for your permission and you nodded as yes. There it was again you both acting like a couple without even realising.

"Only if Jimin sat with us too," Taehyung said firmly never forgetting about his best friend.

"Not a problem. The more the merrier. Plus I think he is cooler than you." Namjoon said jokingly.

"I am going to miss this place. So many good make-out sessions we had here." Namjoon turned around one last time and said as we were about to leave the room at last. This statement got Jen super embarrassed. She then rushed out from there in embarrassment and you followed her, being the good friend that you were. While Namjoon just laughed and found her behaviour cute.

"Y/n is a nice girl" Namjoon stated as his attention now shifted towards Taehyung.

"Yeah, I know," Taehyung said in an agreement as they too left the detention room at last.

"Any guy would be lucky to be with her. You should not let her go, you should cherish her. Namjoon further added to his previous statement.

Which got Taehyung into thinking about him and Y/n being together. Together as more than just friends. He too wanted the same thing, heck he would be lying if said he had never thought about it. He too wanted what Namjoon and Jen had but with his past always haunting him. He was sacred to go beyond friendship. As he didn't want his past to ruin you lasit had ruined him.
