Taehyung's POV

"Any guy would be lucky to be with her. You shouldn't let her go, you don't find girls like her every day. You should cherish her."

Namjoon sanbae's words keep repeating in my mind. I was so confused. I know I like her, but what if she doesn't like me back, I don't want to ruin our friendship. Even if she likes me back, will I be able to lie to her for the rest of our lives.

These thoughts won't let me sleep it has been days since he said that. But still, his words are stuck in my mind. But I can't let her go like Namjoon sanbae said I should cherish her.

Yeah, I should cherish her. I will tell her how I feel and if she doesn't feel the same for me we can be friends.

I mean there is a reason why you left your past behind -to have a fresh start, to have a better future, unlike your forefathers. She is my better future. I should not let her go.

<Time skip two weeks later>
<In the cafeteria>

It has been two weeks since I have made up my mind about confessing to her but I lack the guts. I don't know how to do it. I have never done it. How will I do it?

I need help from someone. Someone with experience. As I was looking for someone I saw Namjoon sanbae enter the cafeteria, with Jen. Yes he can help me he even has a girlfriend, he is the only one in our whole group who has a girlfriend to be exact. Also, he was the one who made me realise that I should not let Y/n go. He needs to help me it was his idea in the first place.

"Today, I will buy everyone lunch on our table" Jen announced happily.

"Why, what's the occasion? If I might ask" Hobi asked one of the Namjoon friends with whom we also friend with now.

"Whatever the reason of your happiness is, I hope it happens every day," Jimin said excitedly.

"I don't think it will happen every day," Jen said as she asked what they wanted for lunch.

"What exactly has happened?" Even Namjoon wanted to know the reason behind her kindness.

"Mrs Choi finally got maternity leave from today." Y/n then explained. And all of the guys' reaction was the same "Ohh" as we all knew how much Jen disliked her.

"I mean the main reason for her always getting angry and irritated was that the colleague was not giving her maternity leave and she use to take her frustration out on us by being even more strict than before. But from today everything has changed as she has got the maternity leave. So now Mrs Choi and I are both happy for the next 6 months." Jen further explained the reason for her happiness.

"And Jimin you may get another treat from Y/n in few days," Jen said as she looked at y/n

"Why, is that?" This time I asked in curiosity.

"Oh, the super cute substituted Mrs Choi left behind who use to study in our college till last kept looking at her none stop in the introduction class." She said teasing to Y/n.

When she said that I choked on the coke I was drinking. Then everyone's attention was on me and Namjoon came to my rescue sensing my situation and said "Hey you are only allowed to call me cute" in an offended tone.

At that moment I knew I was most certain about her that I have ever been about anything.
