Mar Soto finds herself whisked away into a euphoric world of sex, drugs, love, identity, friendship, and trauma as she finally finishes her sophomore year of high school—once again—and enters into a new era full of danger and change, alongside her friends in the eleventh grade. It seems as though her long time abuse of various drugs only throws her into a tornado of troubles with threatening classmates, and prevailing drama that seems to be much bigger and more complicated than herself and her friends. Mar becomes woven into a twisted story that just seems to continue to become more knotted and jumbled as it keeps playing out.
