Asia's Point of View.

"You may enter." The king's voice boomed through out the room.

A young man slowly entered in the room dressed in his protection detail suit I have grown common of. Behind him were 3 other young guards ready to present themselves to me as well. My father stood from the throne and gracefully made his presence beside me. He took a deep breath awaiting the men who entered across the spacious room. Once they were 10 feet away the first young man bowed followed by the others.

"My lady and my King, I am here to finally pledge my life to the princess." The leader of the group spoke with power as he stood up straighter meeting my father's piercing blue eyes. He then lowered his head in my direction addressing me as "My lady". I smiled back and greated him the same.

"Jace Bennette do you give your future queen your life service through sickness and health, through peace and war, in times of faithlessness and in times of death. Will you promise your life above hers. Will you give your life to save hers if the time is needed. Do you wish to continue being her closest companion, half her soul so to speak. " My father stopped his speech and waited for his responce before looking in my direction briefly.

"My lord I will give the Princess, my future queen, my life if that is what she wishes of me. I will be her personal guard for my life. i pledge my life service to her protection." Jace spoke with such confidence I found myself smiling. I had not had the ability to choose my life partner, my personal guard. I looked up at my king and nodded my head. Turning around I walked up to the throne and made my way to my dagger and pulled it out of the leather casing. I made my way back down the marble stairs and stood not even 2 feet from my new guard. I placed my hand out for him to grab and looked into his brown eyes and gave him a reasuring smile. He carefully gave me his hand, placing the palm up.

Taking a deep breath I allowed the knife to glide across his palm, Jace did little to show if that small action affected him. I then let his hand go as I put the blade to my own hand and sliced across the palm. He then placed his hand into mine as our blood mingled. It stung at first as I was told in legends. The blood fusion was the oldest of all pledges and by far the strongest bond between the personal guard. My eyes were flooded with old memories of his, from his mother and father seeing him for the first time to his first day in school to his first kill. I pulled my hand back slowly once I could see again. My eyes shifting from a black to a bright red which I have grown into.

He pulled my hand back to him and pulled out a piece of fabric from his pocket and carefully tied it around my hand, before he took a few steps back and bowed once more before covering his cut. The other 3 young men then made there way and went through the same process but instead of a blood bond I was bound to them by a spiritual tattoo. We all shared it. Mine crawled from my right shoulder up around my right arm and down to the top of my hand. Theres will be forever imprinted on the top of their arms around to their shoulders. The design was intricate and by far nothing ever seen.

As quick as it appeared the pain of it edging into my skin had stopped. The three boys were named, Erick, Peter, and Antonio. The three had done the highest honor of a warrior. These men were now bound to my life and if I were to perish so will they, for they will have broken their promises which have now taken control of their fate.

The four then all stood in a line as my father walked toward them assigning them new rooms located in my wing. He then bowed to them and made his way out of the throne room. I looked up at the young men before me taking in there appearences. Jace was a built young man close to my age according to mother who seemed to have gotten ahold of the boys papers. He was lean yet built the perfect combo of a warrior. Speed and strength made a combination any force was proud to have.
