"Are you sure we are ready for this?" Erick asked from the door of my bedroom. He has been really concerned about heading off of castle grounds with the princess... I mean Asia. We all know of the roaming dangers of rouge werewolves and the rouge Vampires as well. Everyone in the guard has been focused on trying to protect the castle for years. Things have been laying low farely recent but I once read "The calm comes before the storm". Very soon our fates will be tested.
"We will be ready Erick. We just need to be on guard at all times. The king says Asia has never left the grounds before." I told him as I began to button my shirt up and put on the bullet proof Vest with a coat over top of it. Erick shuffled around at the door before huffing and walking out mummbling something about me being to confident. I turned to walk over to my mirror and brushed my hair out and made sure my appearance was appropriate. Today was my first official day as the Princess's personal guard. Don't get confused between her personal guard and her private guard. Erick, Peter, and Antonio are her personal guard. They have a strong connection with her but my connection is a blood bond and if she dies I will too.
A knock lightly made its way through the room as I turned and opened the door to find Asia. She was dressed in A beautiful black Dress, leggings underneath, winter boots, and a coat over top of it. I got the hint that as Princess she cannot go out looking anything other than formal since she is the young face of royalty and the new face of the crown.
I smiled after seeming to check her out and walked past her as I gave her a goodmorning greeting. We all met up in the living room and the boys and I checked our guns one on each side. Vampire piercing weapons on the left and Werewolf on the Right. I saw Asia flinch at the weapons and I turned to her and let her know we were just being prepared in case and to not worry. She seemed to relax after that and then one by one the boys and I all walked over and gave her a small reasuring hug.
After making our way through the extensive castle halls, we reached the entrance and was met with a vehicle in the front lawn. Asia began to make her way toward it before I lached onto her arm and shook my head at her when she gave me a questioning look. I then pointed toward my vehicle which the others were speeding toward in hoping of catching "Shotgun". Imebciles. I then got into escort position and waited for Asia to rest her hand in the crease of my arm. We then walked toward the car and I told Asia she would be sitting in the back so she is not able to be seen from wandering eyes. She nodded her head and got in after I opened her door and closed it after her. Who said chivalry died? not yet thats for sure.

We all drove into town followed by another vehicle of guards who followed behind to check out the town for any danger as they went out to shop as well. As the King had warned us Asia exited the car and looked around before she located a candy shop and made a mad dash for it. Damn this girl is fast. I entered the store followed by Erick while Peter and Antonio waited outside with their arms folded trying to avoid the stares of young women who passed them. I chuckled as I noticed Asia being lectured by the store owner about how she cannot begin eating the candy before buying it. Erick and I began making our way toward her when a man grabbed her arm rather roughly. I sped up to him and pulled his arm away from her and stood in front of her glaring at the man in front of me. Erick walked behind me and put his arm comfortingly around Asia sweet talking the owner that Asia has never been at a candy store and had not known better. He added something about her living under a rock as I starred into the mans eyes.
