REAL LIFE

ANNIKA STOOD IN FRONT OF HER MIRROR, smoothing down her clothes. Her top was a white crop top, her bottoms were cargo pants that just stopped below her knee. The top of her hair was covered by a bandana, the rest of her hair flowing loosely. Before she left her room, she ran her fingers through her hair, making sure to get rid of any small knots still in her hair. She gave herself a once over in the mirror, then reached for her phone.
Her screen lit up as soon as it was in her hands, it was a text from Jo telling her she was close to her house.

She rushed down the stairs, seeing the shoes she wanted to wear and throwing them on. Just after she finished getting them on, a honk filled her ears. The door opened quickly, then she shut it tight behind her. She was the first one to be picked up, so she took advantage of that and sat in the passengers seat.

"It's my turn with aux today." Annika swooped her hand down, grabbing it and plugging her phone in.

"Ry and Vi are gonna be so happy that you have aux."

"Yeah, well we have turns for a reason. I literally have the best taste in music out of all of us."

"Sure, you can keep telling yourself that Nikki."

"Whatever." Annika grabbed her phone, scrolling down and selecting the playlist she felt everyone wolf enjoy.

The car pulled up in front of Vi's house, and Jo honked. Two minutes later, Vi was running out of her house toward the car.

The car was almost silent, the only thing playing was the music. Nikki hummed the melody, bopping her head back and forth to the beat. Another honk was heard, and Ry came rushing out of his house. He told Jo to drive, and they headed off to the mall.

"I'M SO HUNGRY, TO THE FOODCOURT we go." Ry complained, forcing them to turn around and walk the other direction.

"Same here, I need something to eat or I'm gonna starve." Annika agreed, ahead of everyone.

"Nikki, stop walking so fast we can't keep up."

Annika stopped, waiting for her friends to catch up to her. The sound of a stomach grumbling was heard by the four of them, to which they broke out into a laugh.

"I'm not even walking that fast, you guys just go the speed of snails."

"Whatever." Jo grumbled, rolling her eyes.

The group split up, each getting in line wherever they chose to get food.
