The silence of their apartment enveloped him after the click of the door, indicating that he was all by himself again.
Yamaguchi wrapped his blanket above his head, trying to gain comfort from the silence. He was fine with it when he first got here but as time passes by, the silence felt wrong. He felt heavy every time he leaves him there but he had no right to complain.
He lifted his body from the bed with the blanket still wrapped around him and walked around the apartment to find a comfortable place to stay in.
Failing to do so, he tried to text him.
To Tsukki:
Tsukki, what time are you going home?
It had only been a few minutes since he left but he couldn't help asking as he felt so lonely without anyone being there with him. It was always Tsukishima, he had no one else but him. Ever since high school, he didn't really talked to anyone but Tsukishima, all of his friends back then couldn't find a time to hang out with anyone.
Yamaguchi finally found a spot to rest on all day as he doesn't need to go anywhere. Without him being conscious, he fell asleep.
From Tsukki:
I will be home late Tadashi, don't wait for me okay?
It had been going on for a month now. Tsukishima not being able to eat dinner with Yamaguchi and going home at the middle of the night. Yamaguchi wanted to ask what was the reason but they barely had enough time to talk and maybe it was just a problem at the company that Tsukishima works for, plus Yamaguchi trusts Tsukishima so much. Even with that, Yamaguchi didn't stop texting him to ask if what time would he be going home or if he already ate.
Yamaguchi always left food for Tsukishima and he was always happy to see that in the morning, it was already consumed.
Time flew by fast and when Yamaguchi woke up, it was already 3 in the afternoon. He got up from the sofa, panicking that he didn't ate lunch. Zooming through the kitchen, he found nothing to work on, it was a cue to go the supermarket.
He grabbed his coat and wallet, called a cab and got in to the supermarket.
Yamaguchi walked through the isles casually in the dinosaur pj's that belonged to Tsukishima.
As he was about to pay, he bumped in a familiar figure. Although the man was wearing a hoodie and sunglasses, he couldn't have mistaken it for someone else, who would forget him?
The man seems like he didn't notice that Yamaguchi bumped into him and was surprised that someone started saying sorry to him.
As their eyes met, they blurted out each other's names.
"Yamaguchi."
"Kageyama."

"What are you doing here Kageyama-kun?" Yamaguchi asked, smiling while Kageyama tried to help him with his groceries.
His expressions changed, he is now more gentle, looking at him. Yamaguchi thought. He was confused as to why Kageyama was there. A world famous volleyball player was there in Tokyo. He assumed that he would be somewhere else, practicing or maybe hanging out with Hinata. It was the first time in years since they saw each other that's why he was also surprised when he saw Kageyama.
"Nothing." He sneered. Silence enveloped them as they walked to Yamaguchi's apartment.
"How are you and Hinata?"
