Sitting on the couch, with a worriedness plastered on your face. You sat there impatiently, waiting for your boyfriend to arrive.

Earlier today, you and your boyfriend, Jungkook were supposed to meet and have dinner together with your and Jungkook's parents.

He didn't even bother to come.

{Earlier}

You were looking around the restaurant, hoping to see the presence of Jungkook.

You have been impatiently waiting for him, your parents were looking at you worriedly.

Mrs. Jeon: I don't think he's gonna come, sweetie.

You looked at Mrs. Jeon and forced a smile.

You: Don't worry Mrs. Jeon, he promised he will. Maybe he's stuck in a traffic

You looked again at the entrance of the restaurant, but still no sign of Jungkook.

Your dad: Y/N hun, it's okay if he can't come. He's probably dealing with something important now, we all know how busy he is right. Let's enjoy the night, shall we?

You just sigh and smile while nodding your head, finally giving up that Jungkook can't come.

You look at the entrance once again before confirming the fact Jungkook can't come.

When he didn't come, you were worried sick. You don't know if you should feel worried, angry, or even sad. It's like all your emotions got mixed. It confuses you.

You were looking at the clock from time to time.

{10: 23 PM}

You felt disappointed that he couldn't come earlier when he promised he will. That made you feel range towards him. You were too disappointed.

It was a little late by now, but you decided to stay up and wait for hi.

Jungkook sigh as he leaned towards his chair, frustrated while having his eyes closed.

He had some urgent things to do, yet he has plans later.

Jungkook: I need something to sober me up from tiredness.

He says as he runs his hand through his hair, releasing a stressed sigh coming out of his mouth.

Suddenly, someone came into his office, making him look at the person who came in just now.

Jungkook: V, hyung?

Kim Taehyung, 25. He's one of Jungkook's best friend since diapers. He's also a co-worker in his company

Taehyung: Kook-ah, do you wanna go to the bar later? Just to have a drink with the other hyungs. Ya know, take a break first from work.

As much as Jungkook wants to go, he knows that he can't. He has plans planned for later dinner.

Jungkook: No hyung, I can't

He says coldly as he leans back on his chair, releasing another sigh.

Taehyung: You sure you don't wanna go? The others are there too

Jungkook wants to go but his plans for later are stopping him.

Jungkook: What time is it then?

Taehyung: 6 PM. You can go home any time you want though.

Jungkook thought about it for a second. The dinner with you and your parents will start at 8 so he still has a bit of time.

Jungkook: *sigh* Fine then. I'd better be quick, I also have plans for later.
