Bernard re-entered the room to see meyra turned towards the wall, blanket half way up her side and hair flowing over the rest of the bed.
"Hey." He said quietly to get her attention. She turned and as she saw him, her face lit up.
Meyra flipped herself over and pulled the blanket up to her neck, laying towards Bernard who carefully climbed back into bed. He pulled the blanket up to his chest, and Meyra pulled the blanket down to hers. Bernard moved to have his upper back on the pillows and opened his arm, to which Meyra snuggled into almost immediately. Bernard sunk back down to let her head rest on the upper part of his chest, planting a small kiss on her scalp and running his fingers through her hair.

"Good morning." His voice was soft.
"Mph." Was the reply he got from her.
"Are you going to stay here all day?" He was met with a nod into his chest from her, releasing a small chuckle from Bernard.
"I'm guessing you want me to stay then?" She nods again, but quicker, to say that it would be perfect. Another small laugh escapes both of them. Meyra moves her head to see his face, hair falling in front of her and placing a hand on his cheek. She traced her thumb under his eye back and forth. Bernard brushes the hair out of her face and gives her a small smile.
"I love that look on you." She pushes his hair behind his ear.
"What look?" He asks confused
"The smile silly, I love to see it." She lets out a small giggle after he looks away with a red expression.
She moves her hand back to his face, turning it back towards her. She moves more up to his level.
"You are cute and can't change my mind." The accent was light but noticeable, another feature he loved.
"I know that, and I have accepted it." They both let out a small laugh again. Meyra gently kisses his forehead, making his face a little red.
"Good, and it better stay that way."
