Chapter 6 officially team 7

A/n whats up everyone I don't know if you read this one or my dxd fanfic first but there was a delay in chapters since my birthday had just passed and I went to Las Vegas but I'm back! Before anyone ask I neged money lol well let's get to it

Naruto woke up in the morning to recall the events from the day before not only did he officially now have a team on his own but he got together with tenten last night and a smile came across his face as he thought about his now girlfriend as he got up and looked at the time
"OH SHIT"  he yelled out as he realized he was about to be late for the jounin meeting and scrambled to get ready for the lack of not wanting to be like his sensei
'Kurama what the hell why didn't you wake me up?!'
" what am I your alarm clock you should have remembered to set it idiot" replied kurama
" still a hey naruto it's time to get up would be nice dattebayo" replied naruto as he deadpanned putting on his jounin vest
" once again I am not your alarm clock" replied kurama as he went back to sleep
"Lazy fox" mumbled out naruto as he finished getting his gear ready and looked in the mirror
"Alright now I'm ready" he said as he slightly adjusted his head band and went out the door jumping from roof top to roof top he eventually landed in front of the hokage tower and went inside
"Hey Shizune neechan!" Said naruto as he waved at Shizune
"Naruto you know you're late hopefully none of rokudaime samas habits rubbed off on you" she replied as she narrowed her eyes at him and he put his hands up in defense
"Aw come on Shizune neechan it's not like that I just over slept dattebayo" explained naruto as he sweatdropped
"If you're tardy again I'll have to inform Tsunade Sama to keep a look out just in case you pick up another one of his habits" said Shizune and naruto paled at the thought Shizune was one thing but if there's anything he learned from his old sensei is that a mad Tsunade is a scary Tsunade
"I promise I'll won't be late again!" He said out of fear and he bowed his head
"Oh naruto what am I gonna do with you" said Shizune as she put a hand on his head and starting rubbing his head
"You're a jounin now naruto and on the way to become the nanadaime hokage please be punctual with time from now on" she continued as she smiled thinking back to when she had first met naruto and how small he was compared to now
"I will Shizune neechan I promise" he replied as he gave his trademark smile
"Alright now go ahead and go to the office the other jounin are waiting for you" she said as she pointed to the stairs naruto went up and got to the door he was looking for and knocked
"Come in" he heard kakashis voice through the door and went inside to see the other jounin all in full uniform in the office his eyes met tentens and she smiled brightly at him
"Well well great of you to finally join us naruto I suppose you have an excuse for being late?"
'Oh this is gonna be funny' thought naruto As he smirked and looked up into space
"Oh you know just got lost on the road of life" he replied and the other jounin snickered and naruto looked towards kakashi to see his deadpan expression
"Right well let's just get this meeting done with just give your reports" said kakashi as he rubbed the bridge of his nose
"Hinata please begin" he continued
"Hai hokage Sama team 4 of Hinata Hyuuga pass" said Hinata
"Ok next"
"Team 5 of tenten higarashi pass" said tenten
"Ok good next" said kakashi
"Team six of rock lee pass the flames of youth burn strongly in them" said lee
"R-right...." deadpanned kakashi as he mentally cursed gai for making another version of himself
"Next" said kakashi
"Team 7 of Naruto Uzumaki pass dattebayo" said naruto as he smiled and gave a thumbs up Tenten just smiled at his speech quirk
"Ok good I had a feeling they would pass kiba continue" said kakashi
"Team 8 of kiba Inuzuka pass hokage sama" said kiba and kakashi just nodded sad to say none of the other teams passed
"Now all jounin who do not have a team that passed you may leave" said kakashi as everyone but the the 5 new jounin left
"Okay now that it's you guys I need you to give me detailed reports as to how they did" said kakashi as shizune walked in
"Ah shizune please stay i need to keep tabs on this matter as well" he said
"Hai hokage Sama" she replied as she went to stand next to kakashi
"Come on I told you already to drop the Sama it's weird" sad kakashi as everyone laughed
Each one gave a detailed report about what went down and finally it was narutos turn
"Well naruto your turn please give me all the details"
Said kakashi
"Right. Well I did the bell test now at first they were scared at the thought of being sent back but as soon as I said to begin the scattered they're pretty good at hiding I had to infuse some chakra to sense them out now the first one to come to face me was kyousuke his has talent with ninjutsu the second one was soma his taijutsu is no joke they worked together and even made me use the hiraishin a couple of times" said naruto shizune widened her eyes at this
"You've mastered the hiraishin?!" Yelled out shizune
The other jounin looked at him curiously
"The hiraishin what's that?" Asked lee and naruto pulled out a three pronged kunai and dangled it with one finger
"The hiraishin no jutsu is the jutsu that gave the yondaime the nickname the yellow flash it was created by the nidaime but perfected by the yondaime and now naruto it allows the user to teleport to anything their seal matrix is on if you look he has his seal matrix on the kunai hence he teleport to any kunai with that marker no matter the distance however the bigger the distance the more chakra it takes to make the jump" explained kakashi
"Mhmm but I can also mark other object and people should the need arise" said naruto as he smirked
The other jounin just widened their eyes and tenten just smiled her boyfriend who was already regarded as the most powerful in the village just became stronger
"Anyways please continue" said kakashi as naruto put the kunai away
"Right well they forced me to use the hiraishin satou was even able to get in a genjutsu despite kuramas interference almost tricked me to believing they had the bells already till I dispelled it but anyways they failed to get the bells however they refused to be separate and chose they would rather all go back to the academy than be separate so I passed them" naruto finished explaining
"Sounds like they're going to quite the team with the team work and it'll put you at ease knowing they would never abandon a comrade" said kakashi as he gave his famous eye smile naruto only nodded and smiled back
" wel congratulations to all of you for taking on a team as you all are aware there are no more D ranks for genin it will only be C rank and above however I will not allow A ranks until at least 1 of your genin become chunin and you feel they handle it" explained kakashi and everyone nodded
"Now is there anyone who would like to request a mission now? I have a few C ranks I need done" said kakashi
"Hmmm I'll take one hokage Sama" said kiba
"I will as well I cannot let the flames of youth did out" said lee
"I told my team to meet me tomorrow so my team and I will be by tomorrow" said naruto
"Same here" said tenten and Hinata just nodded in agreement
"Alright well kiba and lee you guys stay the rest of you may leave" said kakashi and with that the other three left.

They made it to the other side and began talking
"So what are you gonna do today Hinata?" Asked naruto
"W-well I have to train with father which is why I told my team to meet tomorrow" said Hinata
"And you naruto kun?" She asked
"I dont know maybe train my senjutsu or train my chakra mode so I don't get rusty" said naruto as he put his hands behind his head
"And you tenten?" Asked Hinata
" well I was hoping to spend time with my boyfriend" she replied as looked at naruto
"Huh? If you wanted to spend time together you should say so" replied naruto as he scratched his cheek
"W-what you two are together?" She asked with a slight hint of sadness in her voice that didn't go un noticed by tenten
" look Hinata I'm sorry but I really like naruto and he likes me so we're a couple now I really hope you can be happy for us" said tenten with a solemn look on her
'I don't know what's going on' thought naruto
"You're an idiot" said kurama
"Right of course now if you'll excuse me I'll be going now" said Hinata as she bowed and took off
" what was that all about ?" Asked naruto as he raised an eyebrow
"Naru kun did you really not know Hinata liked you ?" Asked tenten
"EHHHH?!" Yelled out naruto
"Really?" She asked
" I had no idea! I'm still questioning if what happened yesterday was real" said naruto
"Believe me naru kun it was real" she replied as she pulled him into a passionate kiss naruto was a little taken back by the sudden kiss but returned it and they broke apart and smiled
"Well what did you want to do today ten chan ?" Asked naruto
Tenten just blushed at the new nick name
"What's wrong your face is getting red?" Asked naruto
"Ten chan?" She asked
"Well yeah you call me naru kun it's only fair I give you a nick name too" he replied as he scratched his cheek
"It's cute" she replied as she smiled
"Anyways my dad said the kunai you wanted are done if you want to swing by the shop and get something to eat after" suggested tenten
"Oh! That's be great!" He said as he smiled and they walked hand in hand to the weapons shop the villagers were happy for the new couple saying that the war hero deserved to be happy they arrived at the shop and walked in
"Tou san! I'm back!" Yelled out tenten
"Ah tenten you're back I need you to go call naru-" he was interrupted mid sentence as he saw naruto was already there
"Ah naruto my boy! The kunai are ready" bato said as he went to the back and brought the kunai out and laid them out on the desk
"Great! They feel and look great! Thanks a lot bato" said naruto as he examined the kunai
"No problem like i said I used to forge them for the yondaime" replied bato
"How do I owe you?" Asked naruto
"No charge" said bato
"Huh?" Replied naruto
"Think of it as a present for Konohas second yellow flash also if the fact that you two are still hand in hand is anything to go by you can also think of it as a gift for my daughters boyfriend just please keep her happy" replied bato as he smirked
" I will sir" replied naruto as he blushed
"Good now don't go losing these kunai consistently like your father" said bato as he waved and went back into the back of the shop naruto couldn't help but chuckle at the comment
"Well naru kun let's get something to eat" said tenten
"Sure! Let's go get some ichiraku " said naruto as he finished putting the kunai in a scroll and put it away
"Hmm some pork ramen does sound pretty good right now" she replied as she put a finger on her chin and nodded they went hand in hand again till they got to ichiraku and saw the konohamaru squad coming out
"Naruto nii chan!" Yelled out konohamaru
"Yo konohamaru!" Replied naruto until he saw konohamarus vest
"Woah you got promoted !" Said naruto
" yeah we all did we're chunin now" replied moegi
"I heard you're an elite jounin now naruto nii chan"
Said konohamaru
"I sure am! I have my own genin squad and everything now dattebayo" said naruto as he smiled
"Woah naruto nii Chan a sensei now" said moegi
"So who's this boss your girlfriend?" Asked konohamaru
"Oh yeah she is. Guys this is tenten higarashi. Ten chan this is konohamaru, moegi, and udon" said naruto as he gestured towards the 3
"It's nice to meet you 3" said tenten as she smiled
"I gotta say boss she's a lot prettier than the pink haired one" said konohamaru as he smirked naruto just deadpanned at this comment and tenten just chuckled
"Thanks I appreciate the comment but you really shouldn't talk about people that way" replied tenten
"Right sorry about that" replied konohamaru as he scratched the back of his head sheepishly
"Well if you would excuse us we have lunch date plans an we have to prepare for tomorrow" said naruto
"Tomorrow?" Asked moegi
"Yeah my team will take its first mission as team 7" said naruto
"Ok well then we'll let you guys be come on guys let's go train! See ya later naruto nii chan" said konohamaru as all 3 ran the opposite direction
"Hehe sorry about that" said naruto as they walked inside
"It's no problem naru kun" she replied
The rest of the day was spent eating and spending time with each other eventually they went their separate ways because they both had to prepare for the next day
