Out eyes locked . Within a minute I broke the eye contact,and removed my hands from the watermelon. He did the same ,it was the last watermelon left and they weren't gonna restock it earlier than tomorrow morning. We made the eye contact one again , and this time it was him who broke it. I took a step back and turned around and started to move towards counters to pay for my stuff .
I know that it was rude to do so but it somehow felt the right thing to do.
I payed for my stuff and was about to walk out of the store when someone tapped on my shoulder from the back. I turned around and found Daniel , I was kind of surprised I actually didn't expected to see him . I wanted him to fall for me but looking at my past experience, I thought that people took time to fall . But this was different.
