Chapter 14

Lee Rin and her friends were running away but soon found out that they were still being chased by the queen's army. Soo Yun fell when her ankle got wrapped in the vines that were embedded into the earth. 

Lee Rin stopped and helped Soo Yun up and saw that her ankle was sprained. You would be surprised if I told you it was snowing yes it was still snowing.

"Let's go let's keep moving" Lee Rin said helping Soo Yun up and walking with Soo Yun's limp but they were soon falling behind and the guards were catching up."Leave me! I'll just join my mother!" screamed Soo Yun.

 Lee Rin tightened her arms around Soo Yun's and said only one thing."I don't leave my family behind now let's keep moving." She said. 

She turned around to tell the boys to hurry up but as soon as she turned around she saw an arrow fly past and it pierced Hoseok's shoulder. Hoseok groaned and fell to the icy ground clutching his fists to suppress the pain.

"Hoseok! Jimin hold onto Soo Yun! Hoseok! are you okay?!" asked Lee Rin falling beside Hoseok there was a lot of blood. To be honest Lee Rin didn't know what to do. 

They heard a growl then followed by more growls. Lee Rin's eyes turned up and locked eyes with a large black wolf. Everything stopped even the soldiers running after them. They were thinking that the wolves will do the job for them and kill them but they were wrong the worst was yet to come.

"Is it okay to say that I am scared" She whispered to Hoseok. He shook his head. Lee Rin gulped as the wolf took a step forward its eyes narrowed and let out a growl and lunged forward.

The Chimera's bone cracked and it transformed into a young boy, who walked up to his master who was on the edge of the mountain.

"Master, do you think that she will do it?"

"I don't know my child but all we can do is wait and see for what is to come."

"She looks exactly like your sister Master" he replied. His Master smiled sadly.

"She looks like a constant reminder of her she even has the same will to fight for what is right."

The master turned around and walked towards the bottom of the mountain.

"Come my child you still have a lot to learn."

The boy smiled and followed his Master. She saved him and so he promised to serve her and she promised to train him.

Lee Rin closed her eyes and waited for the pain to come but it never did. She opened her eyes and saw that the wolves had jumped over them and lunged at the soldiers. 

They were no match for the big animals that attacked them. Hoseok's eyes fluttered and he collapsed to the side. 

Lee Rin's eyes widened and she covered him to protect from any further attacks from the soldier's. Soo Yun and Jimin and also found cover behind the large tree.

Suddenly an arrow came right at Lee Rin she didn't have time to react but the wolf did who pushed himself between Lee Rin and the arrow and got impaled by it.

 Lee Rin's eyes widened. The wolf whimpered. Lee Rin's eyes narrowed at the remaining soldiers.

Then she suddenly got an idea she took out her sword and slammed the hilt into the solid earth, the earth shook and opened only to swallow the guards and left the wolves on land. 

Lee Rin knew that Hoseok was still alive because of his shallow breathing. She ran towards the wolf to check on it. She saw that the arrow was not impaled through the heart but the chest. She knew that there was only one way to do this.
