Putting the note in my pocket I turn towards Hunter. "Looks like I have a date with your Prez. I hope it doesn't take him long to fix up my bike."
He shakes his head. "Can't you just go home and forget about the scratch."
"No, I spent a lot of money to get this baby and I'm not going to take it home looking like that." I put the helmet on my head and start the bike. Pulling out of the parking spot I make my way to the bike shop.
Looking in the bike mirror I see my best friend following behind me. I swerve between cars as I make my way through the street.
He catches up to me and leads the way to the bike.
I follow closely behind him and when I see the shop I rev the bike and pull into the parking lot. I shut the bike off and look at him. "Huh, I win."
Ajax walks out of the office and he looks at me. "I'm surprised that you came here straight away."
Walking over to him I slap him across the face. His face turns to the side and I yell. "Did you have to scratch my bike just to see me again? I have better things to do than come here to get you to fix my bike."
He holds his cheek and looks at. "I never let a woman treat me like you did, but I'm going to let you have this one."
Crossing my arms I glare at. "I need my bike fixed in the next hour. I'm not going home without it in tip-top condition."
A few guys yell. "Prez, are you seriously going to let that whore treat you like that."
I'm no whore. If he calls me that again I'm going to shove my foot up his ass.
I scrunch my hands into fists and Ajax places his hand on mine. Turning my head towards him he says. "Just ignore him. He calls every girl a whore. I think he just needs one to suck his cock." Ajax looks at my bike and says. "Bring it into the garage. I'll have one of the guys fix it for you. I have a few things that I need to sort out."
"Thumper," Ajax, yells. A guy with a bald head looks up from a bike he's working on. "I need you to take care of my girl's bike."
He wraps his arms around my waist. "Don't make a fool out of me in front of men."
Looking at him I say. "Fine, but after you fix my bike I want nothing to do you. Just leave me the hell alone."
"I can't promise you anything, babe. If you're going to be hanging around my boy, Hunter. You'll be seeing a lot of me. I need some new tattoos. Maybe, I'll have your name engraved above my heart with a heart around."
Shaking my head, I say. "Why would you go and do that? I haven't known you for five minutes and you're getting on my nerves."
He throws his head back and laughs. "I look forward to our next encounter." Ajax walks away and I yell after him. "Not going to happen."
The bald guy walks out of the garage and heads over to me. "I haven't seen Prez like that with anyone. It takes a special woman to make him a down to earth guy. He's usually business-like. Where did he find you?"
Hunter walks over to me at that moment. He places his arms around my shoulder. "Thumper, take care of her bike." He winks at me before following the Ajax into the building behind the shop.
A girl wearing a tight skirt and shirt walks out of the building with messy hair. She looks at me and licks her lips. "What do you say about me and you going to find a room?"
"No, thanks. I'm perfectly fine here."
She shakes her head. "No one says no to me. Do you know who I am?"
"You're a whore. I've heard all about you from, Hunter."
"I'M NOT A WHORE." She yells, before charging at me. She throws her fist at me and I catch it.
I push her away from me and she keeps coming at me.
A group of bikies stop what they're doing and form a ring around us.
"Kick her ass, Quinn. Show her whose boss." She throws another fist at me and it connects with my face.
She's going to pay for that.
I throw a punch at her and it connects with the side of her face.
"WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON HERE." A very powerful pissed off male yells.
The bikies start moving aside and I see Ajax step into the middle. While my back is turned Quinn thinks it's a good idea to attack me.
Ajax yells. "WATCH OUT, REBEL."
Before Quinn can touch me I throw her over my shoulder and she lands hard on her back.
Ajax runs over to me and makes sure that I'm okay. "I'm sorry, this happened to you."
"Don't be. I called her a whore and she didn't like it. That's why she attacked."
"Trevor, take your whore to the bedroom and call the doc to come out and check her out. Tell her if she touches one of my guests again I will kill her."
"Yes, Prez." Trevor walks to the girl's side and picks her up. He carries her into the building behind the shop.
Ajax looks me in the eyes. "I was in the middle of interrogation when the fight broke out. Please refrain from hurting anyone else."
A smile spreads across my face. "I'll try to stay out of trouble, pres. It's not my fault if it follows me though."
He shoots me a dark look. "Behave, Rebel."
My phone starts to ring and I look at the caller ID. It's my brother 'Brody.' I slide my finger across the screen and accept the call.
Me: Hey, Bro.
Brody: Where are you?
Me: Out and about.
Brody: You should be at home. Not galavanting around the place.
Me: Whatever. If you're at my place when I get home I'll order a pizza.
Brody: Sounds good to me.
A bike behind me revs and thumper yells. "Your bike is ready."
Brody: Where are you?
Me: Nowhere.
Brody: It sounds like your somewhere. If you don't tell me where you are in the next 30 seconds I'll track your phone.
He's probably already tracking it. My brother's spent enough money on high-tech equipment to know my moves.
Me: You know where I am. I'll see you in a minute.
I hang up the phone and walk over to Thumper. "Thanks for fixing my bike. I better go before my brother shows up." I swing my leg over the bike. "See ya." I put the helmet on my head and drive towards the road.
Brody pulls his flashy car onto the side of the road. He looks at the garage and says. "I can't believe you're spending time with the worst types of people."
You can't talk, Bro. You spend all your time illegally fighting in the underground fights.
