Peter was just a kid back then.
Being the only child, he had most of his parents' attention, why most? Well you know how scientists are!
Richard and Mary Parker met at high school and have been married for almost 10 years now.

Their son had a great life; loving and caring parents, high intelligence, great friends, enough money to have a comfortable life and any thing that a person might need.

September 18, 2007
Peter and his father were playing hide and seek when the phone rang. His mother entered the room trying to hide her panic, telling him to go to his room.
Although he was very young and had just turned 6, he knew sth was wrong.

After 15 minutes, his father opened the door, hugged him, whispering in his ear" Pete mommy and I have sth to do. You would have to stay with uncle Ben and Aunt May for a few days. Ok?"

"What's wrong daddy?" The little boy asked, "where are you going?"

Richard tried not to look anxious infront of his son" just some minor problem came up at work. You know how hard it is to save the world, don't you? Some mistakes can be made on the way, nothing serious. We'll be back in less than a week"

Richard patted Peter's shoulder, telling him to be a good boy till they came back, not knowing that it was the last time he could see his son.

Mary on the other hand, had a bad feeling about everything that day. She could sense that she wouldn't be seeing her little boy anymore. So she hugged him as tight as she was able to, trying to hold her tears back.

Waving good-bye to his parents, the little boy did not even imagine how his life was going to change after that night.

Little children usually don't understand death very well, it can be hard to explain why someone died, or where they went to them.

But, when uncle Ben told peter that his parents were in the plain crash on the news, he knew what it meant; no more bed time stories, no more good night kisses from his mom, no more dad made pancakes on the weekends, no more crying for his parents to let him go to their lab. He knew he was an orphan now.
.

.

For weeks, peter wasn't the same. He didn't talk except when he was asked to. Changing his school didn't help either. Losing his friends didn't have a good influence on him.

His aunt and uncle had his costedy now, since they were his only living relatives. So they tried so hard to be like parents to him to have the old peter back...
Ben took him to baseball game every Sunday, tought him how to ride a bike, told him about responsibilities and chores,
May made pancakes for him, stayed by his bed all night when he got sick, helped him with his homework,

Eventually,peter was himself again.
A happy boy who was the top of his class.

But with all of this, he would never forget his parents.
The picture on his bedside reminded him every night.

But you have already known all of this. Things that happen in the life of this kid are so bitter that you will never forget his story.
