"He said yes," I thought to myself as I skipped down the hallway. I had just asked out Ethan, one of the hottest boys in the school and he said yes! I rounded the corner to my locker and rammed into someone; my binder exploded everywhere and immediately I recognized who it was that I ran into. It was Allen, the meanest person I've ever had the displeasure of knowing. I'd never talked to him, no, but my friends told me to stay away. Apologizing profusely, I kneeled down to pick my mess up. He sneered and bent down to scoop it all up in one armful.
"Thank you," I nodded at him and began to walk away but he steered me back toward him and tilted my head up so I was looking into two big, beautiful chocolate brown eyes
"Hey gorgeous, what's your name," he questioned. I shook my head and growled at him.
"None of your business," I retorted, and walked past him straight down the hallway to my locker. After packing up my backpack, it dawned on me that he and I had been the last two people in the school. I groaned as I realized what I'd have to do next. I spent the next five minutes searching the school, but no dice. I couldn't find him. I sighed and was resigned to the idea of walking the three miles home. I could probably even hitchhike if I needed to.
As I was walking out the door someone called out, "hey you!" I turned and there he was; black jeans, button up, vans, and all. He ran his hand through his spiky black hair as he walked up in my direction.
"Looks like the buses already left," he began. I nodded.
"You want a ride," he asked slyly knowing he had the upper hand.
"If someone's offering."
"The thing is," he started, "the thing is I only give rides to people I know. And I don't even know your name." Rolling my eyes, I told him.
"Jade."
"Alrighty, well come on Jade. Mine is the black truck with spikes on the wheels over there."
Oh Fuck. What have I gotten myself into.
