Heyyyyyy..hiiii..how y'all doing?
Chileee not me taking forever to write this chapter because I got lazy
(And now schools going to get in the way 😔✌)
Hey! But here's the chapter and I hope y'all enjoy it ✌.

(Also if y'all usually listen to music when reading, I recommend listening to 'Loverboy' - by las Marias, it's what helped me write the chapter tbh)

He laughed, music surrounded him, a group of people joined him.

.
.

Texas grabbed onto his hat as he entered the bar, swarming through the crowd and towards the counter, all these feelings and thoughts had him in need of a drink.
.
.

"Right? it's insane!"

He stopped.. That voice sounded very familiar.

Texas pushed past a couple of people...there...the reason for him being here in the first place. Now stood a few feet in front of him. He seemed to be talking with a small group of people, a smile on his lips, and that laugh..he never wanted to hold onto someone so dearly before.

...

"You've got a crazy life man! "

California laughed,

"You know, Sometimes I wouldn't change it for a million bucks."

"Hm, and Why's that?"

"Because...There's someone-"

Suddenly he felt a hand on his arm, he whipped around, ready to yank it away when his eyes landed on a extremely familiar face.

"Texas?"
"California."

They both went silent for a second.

"What brings you here?-"
"Why are you here?-'

They went silent again.

"Sorry go ahead-"
"Sorry my bad-"

"..."
"..."

Suddenly California's laugh broke the silence.
That sweet laugh again,
. He rose a brow in confusion.

"So, what's got you here? "

"I was gonna ask the same thing."

"Just for a drink, you know to escape some problems, guessing you came for the same reason? "

"Yeah."
You're my problem.

"Do you wanna tell me?"

"No."

California rolled his eyes before smiling
And grabbing Texas arm and dragging him towards the bar.

Leaving a group of curious people behind him.

Texas watched as the state leaned against the counter and ordered two drinks.

"Would a drunk Texas loosen up more?"

Flustered, Texas avoided the others gaze.

California smiled.

This interaction felt different..they weren't giving each other death glares, nor acting extremely awkward, or at least he was the only awkward one...ah of course.

"You already drank. "

California picked up their drinks as the waiter placed them on the counter.

"Nahh."
Texas rose a brow as the state began to walk towards him,

"You're lying. "
California walked past him with a smile.
