001: Tomorrow's another day

The autumn breeze pushed and shoved around leaves on the sidewalk, creating a path for the exhausted people walking through. One of these people happened to be Sakusa, a newly 20 year old boy with a troubled past.

A nearly empty brown suitcase dragged behind him, his eyes dropped with sleep and his body dragged itself towards an apartment complex just up ahead.

The doors slid open to the office building as people went in and out, Sakusa approached the front desk. Where a man with brown tied back hair stood. A smile was on the man's face as Sakusa approached him. "Hello! Welcome to May's Complex, I'm Asahi, how can I help you?"

"Yes, I called about renting a room under the name Sakusa Kiyoomi," Sakusa spoke, the man known as Asahi hummed and began to type into a computer beside him. "I see! I have your key right here, it's room number 201 correct?" "Yes that's it," Sakusa nodded, "Alright! Here you go, please sign this, also rent is due in the next month!"

"Have a nice day!" Asahi called out. Sakusa just waved and continued on his way, it seemed his apartment was two buildings down so he just wanted to get there as fast as he could.

After turned a corner and climbing a few stairs Sakusa was finally there, he hastily placed the key in the keyhole and opened the door cautiously. He did bring some things to clean with, which was the majority of his suitcase. He couldn't risk getting sick, especially since he got a job as a reporter a few days ago.

Shutting the door behind him, Sakusa began to pull out things to clean with. He started with wiping down the dresser that was provided, and moving onto other things like the bathroom and small kitchen. He swept and mopped for an hour or two before he called it quits.

"Coffee break," he grumbled, taking off the bright yellow gloves and apron he had on. Sakusa changed into some sweats and a white shirt and headed out. He only had pocket change so he looked for the cheapest place around. Which wasn't hard since he was in a small neighborhood.

"Sudai's Coffee, this seems good enough,"

[ Here's the first chapter of the rewrite! I hope this was okay, I am changing the plot up a lot so it might take me more time to write ]
