CHAPTER 27

27 | three white daisies

"Finally, we're here!"

It was early in the morning and all of them were already in the venue where the street teaching will be. Taeyong and the others started fixing their materials as Taeil and Jungwoo started asking some street children with the permission of their parents. Just a few teachers made it but some came by to help.

"Papa, where should daddy put the boxes?" Blue asked.

Taeyong looked back and saw Jaehyun opening the car's trunk to carry the boxes. The omega carried the baby and walked towards the alpha who rolled up his sleeves and combed out his hair. Him in casual clothing should be illegal. Very illegal.

"You could place these on the table right there, then you could place these just by the ground," the omega said, "Can you handle that? I can call--"

"You should have faith in me, teacher Lee," Jaehyun uttered then started carrying the boxes to where the omega told him.

"I-I'm just trying to give you help," Taeyong said, walking with the alpha and their son in his arms.

Jaehyun hummed and placed the box down, "But I'm fine."

Then they went back to get another box.

"I should let you meet my boys," Taeyong said, following the alpha behind, "You know, Hyuckie's friends. They usually help me with these."

"Sure, after I place these down."

"Okay!" the omega cheered, "We're just going to help uncle Kun."

Jaehyun nodded and watched the omega walked towards the beta who was doing the visual aids. The alpha does the boxes, giving a few glances to the omega while he does. Blue seemed to be enjoying himself. Taeyong seemed excited. Jaehyun hasn't really came to charity works like this but he does donate a lot.

It would be something he gets to spend charity works with Taeyong.

After the alpha did his job, he closed his car and went up to meet up with Taeyong who was actually busy talking with some people. It's probably his boys.

"Oh, Jaehyun! Good timing. These are them," Taeyong said, "He's Jaemin...then Jeno, Renjun, Yangyang, Chenle and Jisung. Guys, this is Jaehyun."

The alpha nodded and shook hands with each of them, "Did you guys skip classes for this?"

"Excused. We're excused," Yangyang corrected.

"Right," Jaehyun said with his hands on his hips.

"Taeyong hyung talks a lot about you--" Chenle rubbed his cheek that got pinched too hard by Jisung who got guilty and said sorry.

Jaehyun's eyebrows raised and looked at Taeyong who immediately got flustered by what Chenle said.

"Don't mind him, hyung," Renjun uttered then looked at the baby that was in Donghyuck's arms, "Who is this cutie?"

The alpha was still looking at the omega, keeping his eyes on him. He was quite confused why Taeyong talks a lot about him. He might be too assuming but it was weird to hear from other people. It makes him think something else. But Chenle might've mistook him for someone, like Taeyong's mate.

"You guys remember Blue," Taeyong answered, not even giving Jaehyun a glance.

Renjun pinched the baby's cheek and cooed at how Blue cutely hid himself, snuggling against Donghyuck's neck. Everyone cooed at him and Taeyong has to carry Blue instead, not wanting his baby to become uncomfortable around other people. Someone, on the other hand, suddenly got jealous because of the baby. Jaehyun saw his expression which made him to laugh at him.

"That's my son, dumbass," Jaehyun said.

Mark rolled his eyes, "Why does he even have to snuggle like that?"

"Let's go guys! The program is about to start!"

The day was about Jaehyun discovering a new part of Taeyong. He hasn't really seen the omega teach but the way he made children love him in the matter of minutes was something that made his heart to flutter. He watched him teach and played with the children. His smile and laughs could make Jaehyun feel butterflies.

There was something about him.

"Daddy, I wanna play with them! Can I? Can I, daddy?" Blue asked.

Jaehyun hummed, "Okay, but don't go too far. Stay close to papa or daddy, okay?"

The little prince nodded enthusiastically with his dimpled smile on show. The man lets him go and watched his son go to play with other kids. They did get along in such a short amount of time but then his eyes went over to the omega again. Jaehyun sighed, reminding himself that Taeyong's mated.

How can someone be so attractive like this? Jaehyun hates it.

Taeyong was just reading a story with a little girl, sitting on the grass. Later on, a group of children went to the omega with them hiding something behind their backs. The omega asked and peeked behind them but the children took out a flower crown that they made a while ago.

The omega thanked them and lets them wear it on him. The image of him made Jaehyun fell even deeper. The alpha saw Blue giggling with the other children. He looked around and saw white daisies. He felt sorry for the gardener but he just couldn't help it.

"Baby Blue," Jaehyun called Blue.

The baby looked at his father who asked him to come. Blue ran towards him, making Jaehyun smile at him. The alpha rubbed the baby's head.

"Having fun?" the alpha asked.

"Yes! Is daddy fine being alone?" Blue asked back.

Jaehyun hummed as a response, "Can daddy ask Blue a favor?"

"What is it, daddy?"

"Can you give these to papa?"

Jaehyun gave three white daisies to Blue. The little prince nodded, knowing that his daddy wants to say something to his papa. Blue ran towards his papa who was still between children. Later on, Taeyong saw Blue running towards him who looked like he was hiding behind his back like the children did.

"Baby, be careful. You might fall," the omega said when the baby arrived.

Blue smiled at his papa as he handed the white daisies to Taeyong. That surprised the omega. He happily accepted the flowers and ruffled the baby's hair.

"Did you pick them for me?" Taeyong asked.

Blue shook his head, "Daddy told me to give them to you."

Taeyong felt his heart skipped a beat. He looked behind and saw Jaehyun seated on the bench while on the phone, talking to someone. He looked back at the three daisies, wanting to know what exactly the alpha was trying to say.

Nevertheless, he just keeps on falling.
