Chapter 25

"Don't forget we still have to change his alarm clock tomorrow." Ava said grinning from ear to ear. "Yeah. Goodnight." You said. "Goodnight." Ava said. So you and Ava went to sleep. When you woke up the next morning you could smell pancakes. You took a deep breath smelling the pancakes. They smelled good. "Every Sunday morning, my mom fixes pancakes. There the best." Ava said. "They do smell good." You said. "Yep." Ava said. So we both got dressed and headed downstairs. You went and sat down at their kitchen table. Then Tasha put pancakes on the plates and put them in front of you all. "Good morning." Tasha said. "Good morning." You all said back to her. After you finished eating you all went back upstairs. "(y/n), your mum called and said that she will be picking you up soon." Tasha said. "Okay." You said. So you went and gathered your stuff for when you leave. Thomas was in his room playing some racing video game while you and Ava sat in her room and talked. "I wish he would come out of his room so when can change his alarm clock." Ava said. "Yeah." You said. "Thomas! It's your turn to wash the dishes!" Tasha shouted. "Ugh..." Thomas mumbled. He paused his game and got up and went down stairs. "Thank you mum. Perfect timing." Ava mumbled. She got up and went to Thomas's room and found his alarm clock. Then you got up and followed her. "Here it is. What time should we change it to?" Ava asked. "Hm.. How about 3am." You said. "Great time. He'll be cranky in the morning." She said and smiled. "Yep. But you'll have to deal with him." You said. "Yeah, but I don't have to deal with him all day at school." Ava said. "True." You said. "I can hear him, I think he's almost done. C'mon let's get put of here." Ava said. So you went back to her room. Then Thomas came back upstairs and went back to playing his video game. "Let's hope he doesn't stay up late tonight." Ava said. You laughed. "Yeah." You said sarcastically. "(y/n) your mum is here!" Tasha shouted from downstairs. "Okay, I'm coming! Bye." You said. "Bye." Ava said back. You knocked on Thomas's door. "Bye, see you tomorrow." You said. "Leaving so soon love?" Thomas asked. "Yeah my mom's here." You said. "Bye. Love you." Thomas said. "I love you too." You said. Then you walked into his room and kissed him on the cheek. Then walked downstairs to your mom that was waiting at the door. "Hey." You said. "Hey, did you have fun." Your mom asked. "Yep." You said. "Bye." You said to Tasha. "Bye. I was glad you got to spend the night." Tasha said. "Nice meeting you." Your mom said. "Nice meeting you too." Tasha said. Then you and your mom went home and you got ready for school.
