Mirhiban arrived back at the estate, she had berated herself all the way there. What was she thinking just showing up to see Aziz Divit.  Why would she think that he would want to see her after all this time?  It had been many years since she saw him, her child would be twenty eight this year if he had lived. She shook her head, she should be glad he was out of the country.

Starting to empty her bag, she noticed a journal that wasn't hers.

"Oh, no! I must have put this in my bag by accident, this has to belong to that lovely Sanem."  she started to open the journal and then closed it, she did not have the right to read someone else's private thoughts.  She set the book down and decided she would finish her work and then call Sanem to let her know she had the journal.

Sanem and Leyla walked into Yigit's hospital room, she had asked Leyla to watch him  carefully because she felt that he was acting strange toward her and with Can's thoughts in her head she wasn't sure she was really seeing things straight.

They walked over and sat down by his bed, Leyla noticed he seemed to focus on Sanem and hadn't spoke a word to her, as a matter of fact, it seemed he wasn't very happy that she was there.

"Sanem, have you finished editing your book?" he asked sharply.

"Evet, I have made you a copy to look over and tomorrow I will send it to the printers. I just haven't decided about a cover page and I need to still do the dedication note yet."

"Well, that shouldn't be too hard." he acted smugly.

"I agree" stated Leyla. "I think she knows who to dedicate this book too just hasn't decided on the correct words.  Am I right, Sanem?"

Sanem smiled, knowing her abla was talking about Can "Evet!"

Sanem pulled up her bag and started to pull out the copy of her book, she kept looking for something and was starting to get frantic.

"Sanem, are you ok?" asked Leyla

"I can't find my journal!" she answered almost in a panic "Oh, no! I bet the lady I bumped into put it in her bag by mistake."

She settled down then and they talked a few more minutes before Leyla said they should be going.

"Sanem, you need to stay here and work with me on your book, we may find we need to make changes."

"No, there will be no changes, I have doubled checked my spelling, it is written exactly the way I want it to be. It says  everything I needed to say and how I needed to say it."
This seemed to put Yigit out "Well, I will need to ok the dedication."
"No, you don't, this is my book and I will dedicate it to whom I want and how I want." her statement angered him.

"So, you plan on dedicating this book to Can?" he spat out "No matter what he does to you, how much he hurts you, you still want him?"
"Enough, I have told you time and time again, that I will always love Can even if we are not together. As a matter of fact, without him, there would be no book." she stood up quickly.

"I think it is time for us to go, Leyla." she looked at her abla "Yig, if you have anything to say about the book, please call me, otherwise I will drop it off at the printer's tomorrow morning."

They walked out and the door and Sanem burst into tears. "Abla, are you ok?" Leyla asked.

"I know he is taking a chance on publishing my book but that doesn't give him control over me. He just made me so mad talking about Can. I need to tell you something about what happened at the hut that day."

She told Leyla Can's version and then Yigit's version of the story. "The thing is I know Yigit lied. He told me he was trying to get my journal out of the fire when Can pushed him but he was standing when he was pushed plus, Can was the one with burns not Yig. I was such a fool that night."
"Don't beat yourself up, it was a confusing night, we all were so overwhelmed with what happened."

As Sanem was arriving at the hut, her phone started to ring, she didn't recongize the number but answered any way.

"Hello"

"Sanem, this is Mirhiban, not sure if you remember but we bumped into each other today."
"Ah, evet, I completely forgot I was going to call you. I lost my journal and I thought maybe you may have picked it up by mistake."
"Evet, I do have it, it is why I was calling. I can meet you somewhere this weekend or on Monday close to the agency."
"Well, I actually work on the bottom floor of the agency in the publishing company, maybe we could meet close by and have lunch on Monday."

"I would love that." she paused "I want you to know I didn't read your journal, I am sure it is private."
Sanem laughed "well, it use to be, now it is going to turn into a book I am about to publish, so please feel free to read it, I would love your take on my story."
"Thank you and I will tell you what I think on Monday."  They said their goodbyes and Sanem hung up the phone. She quickly hugged Leyla, saying their goodbyes. She text Can that she was on her way.
