I hate loving you

The Forbidden Forest

"Do you want to come to the forbidden forest with me" "yeah sure Luna i'll meet you down by Hagrid's" "ok take all the time you need" Luna walks off towards Hagrid's. I start walking towards the Ravenclaw dormitories, I reach the painting and answer the riddle.

I walk into the common room to see there are only 5 kids which is weird because its already almost 9 am. I walk up the stairs that lead to the girls dorm rooms. I open the door to my room the girls that I share my room with are both already gone, I walk over to my desk and get out my quill and parchment and start writing. 

Dear, Mother 

I can't wait to see you, I know you are going to the Malfoy's Christmas party as you know I wasn't planing on going but Draco said he would like it if I came so I decided that I will be attending. Hogwarts has been a bit quieter than usual, except for the dementors but they haven't done anything to crazy yet. I am excited for the winter holiday and I miss you.

Here you go Brewster take this to my mother please, I get up and put away my quill and leave my room. I enter the common room and walk over to the painting and I push it open and walk out, I start walking towards the exit of the school. 

Once I reach the exit I walk outside and feel the crisp fall air on my face, I start walking down to Hagrid's hut I see Luna waiting "hi" "hello" "sorry it took me so long I was writing to my mom" "its alright... you ready" "yeah lets go." We look to make sure that no one is watching us because we really aren't supposed to be in the forbidden forest anyway but with Sirius Black on the lose we really aren't supposed to.

Me and Luna walk into the forest "look there are some" "some what Luna?" "thestrals" "Luna I can't see anything" "only people that have seen death can see them" "oh... who did you lose" "my mother she was doing an experiment one day and it when sideways" "oh in'm so sorry" "It's alright she died doing what she loved." 

She takes my hand and guides it over to what she is looking at I feel something rough under my hand. "Wow" "they are very sweet creatures just misunderstood" "they seem sweet" I look over at Luna and she is reaching into her bag. 

She pulls out a piece of raw meat and hands it to me I instantly get a look of disgust on my face because it had a gross feeling in my hand. "what am I supposed to do with this" "feed it to them" "ok" I throw the piece of meat on the ground about 20 feet in front of me.

"Do they like it" "yes they love it" Luna replies with a smile. We hang out with the thestrals for another hour or so but then we decide we should get back to the school for lunch we exit the forbidden forest and start walking back up towards the school.

Once we reach the school we go to the great hall where a lot of the kids are sitting eating lunch, we sit down at the end of the Ravenclaw table away from everyone else. I grad a sandwich and it on my plate, "so did you enjoy our trip this morning" "yes very much, we should do it again sometime."

"Definitely" I pick up my sandwich and take a bite, Luna grabs one to and puts it on her plate. "So need any help with homework" "no I don't have any left to do I did it all Friday night" "cool so what are your plans for holiday brake" "oh nothing special i'm just going to stay home with my dad its his favorite holiday."

"Oh that's cool" "what are your plans" "oh all i'm doing is going to the Malfoy's Christmas party the rest of the time i'll be home spending time with my family" "that's nice" "yeah." We finish up eating our sandwiches and go to the Ravenclaw common room.

This chapter is a bit longer than the last one
