age dreaming is an umbrella term. age dreamers headspaces are different from age regressors, the most noticeable difference (to the age dreamer) is that there is no mental shift in this headspace like there is in age regression. age dreamers can still do everything that age regressors do, the difference is that age dreamers don't actually regress to the age they are portraying. they simply do age regression things while still being in the headspace of an adult. it is not ddlg however because it is non-sexual and non-kink.

an age range is the age group a regressor or age dreamer regresses to or identifies with.

the most common consensus is;
- 0-5: is baby regression, often referred to as babyre and sometimes little space. you can break this down further into newborn/infant and toddler which respectively is 0-1 and 1-5.
- 5-10 is child/kid regression (childre & kidre) however sometimes is applied to pre-teen and teen regression.
- 10-20 is often referred to as middle space, further broken down, 10-13 is pre-teen, 13-19 is teen, and young adult is 18-20, however, the last one can really just depend on where you live.
