I am from stuffed animals,

From Build-A-Bear and Claw crane machines

I am from the office room's chalkboard

dusty, lovely, and full of millions of stories.

I am from the poison ivy,

it attached to my skin as I would wonder its home of the mysterious woods.

I'm from the top-hat Christmas and Eggnog Extravagansa

From my Uncle Keith and Aunt Laura

I'm from the gameplay after holiday a dinner and boat rides on the lake in the summer.

From watching television to close I would lose my vision and everytime I swallow a seed I become a watermelon

I'm from the church me and my friend used to go to just for lunch afterwards, just for the company of one another and the smell of Arby's roast beef sliders.

I'm from Elkhart, Indiana and the roots we have over 4,000 miles away with all the meat and vodka that they would stash away

From the time we all played pool and nobody was as good as my grandpa

The specific cuts my grandma wore as a sign of a survivor

Pictures scattered along the sides of the stairwell and even though there wasn't much on board,

We all still had these sweet, beautiful stories inside our hearts.
