Patton was always slightly rude. Whether it was through being slightly pushy, or making decisions for people, he was never fully kind. But because he was Morality, he made sure never to drop his act of kindness around Thomas. If he did around any of the other sides, even if they did tell Thomas, Thomas was so used to Patton being kind that he'd think it was Deceit. That's why he thought he could get away with it. Boy, was he wrong.

Patton was telling Roman what to do, as always. Things like, "help me with this!" Or "Stop being lazy and do the dishes faster!" Or "No no no, you're doing it wrong. I'll do this, you fold laundry. You're so useless." This time, it was cleaning up dinner. Patton made the mistake of yelling loudly when Roman accidentally broke a plate. Virgil and Logan ran downstairs and saw Patton yelling at Roman, who was obviously scared.

"Patton? Why are you telling at Roman?" Virgil asked, getting Patton's attention. Patton looked panicked, like a secret had been given away.

"I-i-" Patton stammerer as he fumbled for a reason to yell at Roman.

"Patton, what did Roman do to be yelled at?" Virgil asked again.

"There is no reason, is there? If there was, you would've already stated it." Logan said, adding in go the conversation. Patton hurried away. Logan and Virgil went over to Roman, who was cleaning up the broken plate. He had a few tears running down his face.

"Roman, why was Patton yelling at you?" Logan asked.

"I broke a plate." Roman responded simply.

"He yelled at you for breaking a plate?!" Virgil asked, very confused.

"Yeah, he shouts and yells at me for things like that all the time, even though he knows I hate shouting." Roman responded like it was normal.

"WhY?! I thought he was morality!" Virgil asked incredulously.

"I honestly don't know." Roman answered.

"He shouldn't be allowed to shout at you for small mistakes, like breaking a plate." Logan said, putting himself back into the conversation.

"Eh, I'm used to it." Roman said, like it was a completely normal thing to happen.

"You shouldn't be used to that!!!" Virgil exclaimed.

"Well, are you ok, Roman?" Logan asked, concerned about how Roman was talking about Patton shouting at him a lot.

"Yeah, I'm good." Roman answered.

"I'm gonna go tell Thomas about this. You guys wanna come?" Virgil asked.

"Sure, I guess." Roman replied.

"I will come as well." Logan said.

Logan, Virgil, and Roman all sank out to Thomas's living room, where Thomas was watching YouTube.

"Oh, hey guys, what's up?" Thomas asked, oblivious to what just happened in the mind palace.

"W-what? B-but I thought Patton is morality?" Thomas asked, confused about why Patton would be rude to anyone.

"He is, but everyone has a darkside. He only let's his show around certain people, so he can keep his position of power as a lightside." Logan explained.

"O-oh. So he's morality and knows best on every moral situation. He's the compass to point you toward good, but he can bully people? I don't think that's right." Thomas said, still a little confused.

"It's not. He shouldn't get to be the compass to point to good and bully people. That's not right in any way you put it." Virgil said, pulling himself back into the conversation.

"Is he even allowed to be a lightside anymore? Like, now that we know he's using his position for power, aren't we allowed to banish him to be a darkside?" Roman asked. Virgil nodded, and Logan smirked.

"I-i guess. I mean, I know now that he was lying to have power, so, that would make him evil." Thomas said.

"So we agree. Patton's a darkside now. He's banished as a darkside for as long as we know." Logan said. They all shook hands, sealing that Patton was a darkside. 4 votes was enough go guarantee Patton a darkside, and Thomas's vote counted double because he's the sides host. From that day on, Patton was a known darkside.
