The German Doctor and the Australian Sniper (SniperxMedic)

The aftermath

Medic and Sniper had not talked to each other for ages after that day. If they met each other in the corridors, one of the would just walk the other way. During dinner, Medic would just grab whatever was being made, and take it to eat in his lab, Sniper would do the same, but take the food back to his camper-van. Both of them were too embarrassed to be with the others for too long, as they had started a chant shortly after the sighting of Snipers questionable pictures. The chant was 'Bushmedicine.'
Each chance the other teammates got, they would ask Sniper 'Do you love Medic?' And for Medic, they would ask, 'Do you love Sniper?' It got on the twos nerves, and if Sniper ever got hurt in the battle field, he would treat himself, too afraid to be around Medic. That is, until one fight.

It was the traditional Red team vs Blu team as usual. Everyone got to their points, preparing for anything that came at them. The siren went off and everyone charged out of the respawn place. Sniper didn't go up to his crow nest in this fight. He decided to stay down with the rest of the team instead of being cooped up in his crow nest the whole fight.
At one point, he turned to see Medic running up some rocks to try and escape a Spy Scout chasing after him. Medic had left his bone-saw back at the main base, so he was basically defenceless. Snipers body filled with guilt as he watched Medic being chased by the Scout. But then, he came to his senses. He couldn't hold back not talking to Medic any longer. Sniper groaned and ran to help Medic.
Medic had began to slow down the further he crawled up the stairs of the crow nest. He was cornered. He turned around to see the Spy Scout turn into a Blu Spy, pulling out his fold-knife. 'Say goodbye, Red Medic,' the Blu spy said in his thick French accent. Medic braced himself for his death, but Sniper grabbed the Blu Spy's arm before he got the chance to take out medic. The Blu Spy grunted, trying to fight off Sniper. Medic opened his eyes to see Sniper fighting off Blu Spy. His heart rate sped up a bit, the sight of Sniper at, what seemed to be, his strongest moment made Medic feel warm inside.
Sniper shoved the Blu spy away, causing the Blu Spy to lose his balance and fall off of the staircase of the crow nest and to his death. Sniper grabbed Spy's fold-knife before shoving it in his pocket, and turning to Medic. 'You alright there Doc?' Sniper lent his hand to Medic. Medic finally grabbed Snipers hand and was helped up. 'Th-thank you, Sniper.' Medic stuttered. Medic and Sniper stared into each other's eyes for the longest time, their hands still in each other's grip. 'Look, I'm sorry about the other week, Doc,' Sniper finally said. 'I was meant to keep those pictures secret from everyone else... I drew those because...' Sniper found himself unable to speak in the middle of his sentence. 'Because?' Medic questioned. Sniper sighed '... because I-I love y-you...' Sniper and Medic went red. 'S-Sniper... I-I-'
Something caught Medics eyes: The Blu Sniper was aiming right at their heads. Medic bravely shoved Sniper out of the way, before he got shot, and fell into the lake on the side of the Crow nest.
'MEDIC!' Sniper cried. He quickly took of his boots, sunglasses, hat and dove into the deep lake. He looked around, desperately trying to make Medic fall within his view. He swam up after a minute, and at the surface, he saw blood. He looked below him and saw Medic, holding his wound and sinking to the seemingly-bottomless lake. 'DOC! HOLD ON IM COMING!' Sniper dove back in, holding his breath. He desperately swam as best as he could, despite not being the strongest swimmer out of the whole Red team. Using all of the strength left in his body, Sniper grabbed ahold of Medic and swam as best as he could to the top.

Water filled Snipers eyes as he brought himself and Medic up to the surface. Sniper pulled Medic along as they finally reached land. 'Blu team has captured all the points. Blu team wins!' The Administrator boomed. At this point, Sniper didn't really care about who lost or won, all he cared about was Medic and giving him the best chance. Spy, Heavy, Scout and Soldier finally found Sniper next to Medics body, desperately holding him. Soldier and Heavy grabbed Medic and carried him back to the respawn base as the others headed back to the Red teams main base. Scout and Spy helped Sniper to his feet as he carried his boots, hat and sunglasses back to the base, drenched.
