Reader's P.O.V.

I was having a nightmare when I felt that I was being shaken. My eyes snapped open and I realized that I was in my human form. On reflex, I screamed and then sat up and slapped the demon. I covered my mouth as I saw some blood form on his cheek due to my sharp claws. Fearing that he was going to do something to me, I backed away as far as I could. The white hair man stepped closer to me and offered me his hand.

"Calm down. Sebastian won't hurt you."

'Sebastian. So that's his name.'

I didn't answer, as I couldn't, but I slowly reached out my hand and took his hand. He led me over to where Sebastian was and I was quivering a little. His head was bowed low. The white hair man let go of my hand and he bowed as well. Shocked, I immediately tried to get them to stand up. The white hair man got the hint and stood up, but Sebastian didn't and still bowed. I dropped down on my knees, raised his head, and kissed his forehead.

Sebastian smiled a little and we both stood up. I sat down on the bed and the white hair man introduced himself.

"Hi. My name is Ash and this is Sebastian, as you know."

I gave them a sign that I needed something to write on, as I couldn't speak.

"My name is ______"

"Well name-chan, why can't you talk?" Instead of telling him, I shook my head, and he left that topic alone.

"Well name, if you need anything, you can come to us."

I nodded as a reply.

Breaking the silence, my empty stomach chose to rumble. I blushed at the loud noise and both the men were trying to stifle their laughters, only to fail. Their laughters were melodious, and I found myself giggling with them. However, everything became silent once I giggled. I tilted my head, asking them what was wrong. However, after seeing their reassuring smiles, I began to smile again. Ash left the room to get my lunch and Sebastian stayed to entertain me.

Ash's P.O.V.

I stepped out to get her some food and to let her get comfortable to Sebastian. The first time I saw her running on the streets, I already knew that there was something special about her. I was sure Sebastian felt it too, afterall, I saw the sparkle in his eyes. I sped around the kitchen, not wanting to miss my time with the neko-chan.

Sebastian's P.O.V.

After Ash left the room, we both sat in awkward silence. That was, until I heard scribbling sounds. After a minute or two, she lifted up her communication device (the paper) and I could see that she was thinking a lot on her words.

"Why aren't you attacking me or taking my soul?"

I chuckle and respond, "My dear neko-chan, I'm not like that. Besides, how could I take such a beautiful soul like yours?"

She didn't answer for a while and then her slender hands went up to the side of my face. She caressed the side of my face and her thumb brushed againt my devil red eyes. Putting my hand over hers, I leaned into her touch.

Reader's P.O.V.

I asked him why he had not taken my soul already. He had the perfect chance and when he said that he wasn't that kind of demon, the worry and stress that I had since I arrived disappeared. Instead, I lifted my hand and examined his enchanting red devil eyes. He even leaned towards me.

Hearing the door open, Sebastian and I both turned our heads towards Ash. He set down the tray on the nightstand and Sebastian let my hand go. They both took turns feeding me. One fed me soup while the other fed me fruits or helped me drink orange juice. After only eating 1/3 of the meal, I started to get full and I tried to tell Ash, who was feeding me soup, that I was full, but he continued despite my protests. Finally, when I had finished, both patted me on the head as a job well done. I laid back down on the soft bed, feeling tired.

Ash's P.O.V.

She was a beauty and when I was feeding her, she didn't even eat enough so I refused to let her stop eating. She even gave me the cute kitty eyes and that almost cracked me until Sebastian fed her the piece of fruit.

"Sebastian. How do you feel about her?"

"...I just want to protect her. Is that too much to ask?"

"No. I want to too."

We both leaned in for a passionate kiss. After we finished washing the dishes, we both went to check up on the small neko-chan. She was still sitting up on the bed, but her eyes kept closing and she'd lean to the side like she would fall, but then she'd snap back up and rub her eyes.

We both entered the room and she smiled brightly as soon as we went close to her. She started to get in bed and we both decided that we might as well sleep with her. Sebastian slept on her right, while I slept on her left. She had my hand clapsed in mine and Sebastian's hand in hers. I felt her breathing slow and concluded that she was asleep. Her hands loosened and I felt something weird in my hand.

In my hand was a piece of paper. I looked towards Sebastian who had a piece of paper too. We both sat up and looked at the girl. Unfolding them, I found that my paper had half a heart at the middle of the page and the letters YO. Sebastian had the letter I in the first row, half a heart and the letter U in the third row. Together the papers read I <3 YOU. We both smiled at our cute neko-chan and kissed her forehead at the same time.

"We love you too."
