The Goddess and The Werewolf Prince

The invitation

After the P.E. class I hurried to watch the football game. But before I got to the field Jessie and two of her friends already corner me in the hall.

"I don't know how'd you do it, but you can't get away that easily." She said pushing me on the floor. I groaned in frustration. I help myself to get up while they're laughing their gut.

"Funny." I heard someone say at my back ang I know who exactly it is.

"You bet." One of Jessie's minion said.

"So lame I'm always the good girl." Beth said coming to my side then she look at me and study if I'm okay. I frown.

"So, what do you mean?" Jessie ask confusely.

"I mean is.." Said smiling and then she look at Jessie's way sharply. "Try it again and and I'll drown you myself." She said seriously. My eyes got bigger looking at her at surprise while Jessie and her minions gasps. It was new to me to see Beth acting like that. In all of us she's always the fair one. She always believes that law must be given by authorities not by our own hands. So what gotten into her?

"I'm not afraid of you Princess." Jessie said when she recovered and step closer to us. "I have my ways to get it. I have a hold with someone to back me up." She said.

"Who? Your Beta Daddy? C'mon we all know that's useless." Beth smirk at her. My mouth hangs open. Is it really Beth? Or Reshine? I squiz my eyes with my hands and blink it again and again. But still I saw Bethaline not Reshine. What got into her?

"Stop that." Beth said in their mind like. I bit my tounge for that while she still look at Jessie sternly.

"I have higher connection, darling." She smirk at Beth and me.

"Oh like the werewolf prince you claim to be your mate?" Beth ask putting her hand on her mouth with horrified expression. Jessie just give us a knowing and all high smile. "Dream on." Beth said with disguat after a while. "I knew he ditch you." Beth said advancing to her. Jessie jaw drops hearing it and she stomp her feet walking away followed by her minions. Mouth wide open I look at Beth.

"Close your mouth." She snaps at me. I made a face.

"Whats your problem?" I ask calmly and hold her shoulder. Then she relax a bit but she look like she's crying. I became alert and step closer to her.

"Nothing just some stupid angel." She said.

"What did she do?" I ask hugging her.

"He didn't do anything." She said  more like complaining. I push her away gently and look at her unbelievably.

"What?" She ask irritated. I shrug.

"I don't know. Tell me?" I ask confuse.

"Just... Lets talk about it later. Are you watching Niko?" She said dismissing me. I nod. "Come I'll walk you to him." She said dragging me to the field.

"Promise me you'll tell me about it." I told her while she's dragging me.

"Yeah...yeah... whatever you said." She said waving her hand. "Go there's Niko." She said pointing Niko who's comming our way.

"Where are you going?" I ask when she starts to walk away.

"Class." She said not even looking back.

"You don't have a class." I said matter-of-fact. We knew each others scedule and she don't have night classes.

"I have now." She shout back and run out the field.

"What's wrong with her?" Niko ask beside me.

"Class." I reply automaticaly. His brows shot up quickly.

"She didn't have a night class." He point out.

"Well she have now." I say copying Beth's tone. Niko look at me seriously. I bite my lips.

"Sorry, just copying her." I explain to him. He shake his head. "C'mon I said dragging him to his team mates side.

"Lei." Coach Archie greeted me when we got close to them.

"Coach!" I called out and run to him he then hug me tightly which I turn back.

"How are you? I heard what happen to Miss Kriss house. Are you okay?" He ask worriedly and then he whisper. "I heard you encounter a very strong witch." I automatically bit my lower lip and give him a little smile.

"Yeah I'm fine." I said pulling from the hug. He look at me seriously.

"I'm really fine." I assure him patting his shoulder.

"Okay, okay.." He said smilling. "Go sit at the players bench I'm going to talk to the team." He comanded I look at Niko first and seeing him busy talking to some guy I look at Coach Andrie and said.

"I could be at the audience bench. I can't-"

"No buts darling I wanted you safe." He cut me off and push me to the bench. I don't have a choice but sit there. I saw the players gather. I was surprise when someone sit beside me briskly.

"Hey pretty." I glare at Franco.

"Why aren't you in uniform?" I ask him seeing his outfit. He just sit comfortably.

"Well the game is for high school I'm in college." He explain.

"Oh, so who's the oponent?" I ask looking around.

"The Isel University. They came from west. Not that good so, no need to worry." He said I nod.

Sudenly my senses all got up when I smell a very sweet scent. I close my eyes to ease my nervousness. I know that scent. Only one man owns that scent.

"Hey Leroy." I open my eyes hearing Franco saying his name. Then I feel him sit in the other side of me.

"Hello Leijanla." He greeted I look at him and smile warmly.

"Hello Leroy." I said back.

"Why are you here?" He ask. I raise my brow to him. "I mean why are you sitting here?" My eyebrows raise higher as my lips twitch hearing the question. "Don't get me wrong. I know you want to support you boyfriend so badly." He said with bitter tone. "But you can sit comfortably up, it could be smelly and all rought down here." He explain.

"Well coach Archie insists." I said simply.

"Well that would be good atleast we could get a time together." He smile lightly looking at me.

"Yeah sure." I said unsure what he mean by that.

"Do you have something to do saturday night?" He ask.

"Just staying at my room making assignment  I guess."

"Great, saturday is my birthday and I wanted to invite you." He said all smile, I take a deep breathe. I can't stand seeing him like that my heart is melting.

"Sure for one condition." I said, he nodded instantly. "Stop smilling like that I'm melting." I said frankly. He chuckle, realizing what I say my hands flew to my mouth and  my eyes got bigger. "I-i mean I.." I didn't finish what I'm saying because he pinch the tip of my nose.

"You're adorable." He said still smilling. I shake my head.

"I didn't mean that." I said frantically.

"Don't worry the feeling is mutual." He said teasingly. I blush for more .

"Excuse me guys." I hear Franco said beside me. "I'm still here?" He said motioning his hand to him. I roll my eyes and I saw Leroy shake his head. He ruin our momment. OUR momment? Really? I hit myself in my mind for what I'm thinking. This is crazy.

Sorry I didn't look at this. Sorry for spelling, grammars and errors. I'm not good at it and I'm kind of busy for my thesis. Btw, I type at my phone so I didn't have time to review this. Hopping for more Leroy-Leijanla encounter in next chapter.
