Y/N POV:
Day 1:
"But mom!" I yelled as I stared into her pale eyes.
Her eyes were light blue but a tint of red bursted like flames.
"We are leaving whether you like it or not! Your father has a new job at California and we're moving with him!" my mom shouted.
I didn't want to yell no more. I wanted my mom to be happy with her new boyfriend, but she took this way too far. I ran upstairs and slam the door. I cried in the corner of my room for a few minutes until my friend, Alex, texted me. Alex was my next door neighbor, so she knows almost everything about me, literally. I held up my phone and the text wrote,"I'm coming over. Open the window." I stood up and opened my window as I saw Alex hanging onto a branch of the tree.
"Thank goodness you opened that window or else I would've been dead," she said as she was panting. "What's the matter Y/N?"
"My mom is forcing me to move to California. I tried convincing her to stay here but she wants to move with her boyfriend. Curse my kindness."
Alex just stood there for a moment, staring at the wall. But once I saw her eyes and the direction she was staring, I then realized she was staring directly at the picture of me and her during our Science Camp in the 6th grade.
"I'm really going to miss you," she said as a tear roll down her cheek.
I never seen her cry before as she was always strong and brave, but she was crying, so I stood up and hugged her.
After a long moment of silence, Alex suddenly went into my closet and threw out all my clothes onto the bed.
"What are you doing Alex?" I asked.
"I want to help you pack since we aren't going to see each other ever again," she murmured.
"Wait what?!" I yelled.
"My mom is enrolling me to military school at New York because she thinks I'm not taking school seriously and I needed to restart my life. She said to tell you when we go back to school for the last time but you know me, I can't keep a secret. My parents are also to New York with me, so yea."
The silence lasted about 10 minutes before Alex started folding my clothes. I stood up and hugged her and whispered,"I'll really miss you and I mean it. Your my best friend in the whole entire world and I'll never forget you."
For an hour, we cried in tears while folding my clothes. After that hour, Alex heard her parents yelling because it was time for dinner, so she climbed through the window and waved goodbye before going to her room.
