summary* ━━━ Hope Lupin remembers the time innocence left her body, it was in her eyes. She thinks, that's what Ginny said anyways.
The cries of Harry Potter crying out "He's back. Voldemort's back." to Dumbeldore while tightly holding the dead body of Cedric Diggory made Hope's world spin rapidly; A tightness swelled up into her chest, her mind spacing out, she didn't even take notice the tears coming down her eyes, and the constant sound of worry in people's voices. She didn't even know why. She didn't know Cedric or Harry— which is absurd due to their father's close relationship in their time at Hogwarts.
Trying to get over her troubles, she finds something to distract herself. So, she takes an interest in ballet, a hobby was picked up from her mother.
Until one day, Theodore Nott stumbles upon the Gryffindor girl in the Room of Requirement, marking a great friendship between them.
notes ━━━ i got inspired to write this plot from a song called she dances by billie marten, a wonderful song btw :) ━━━ hope used to be super bubbly and outgoing before 4th year, but after that she's bitter and antisocial ━━━ during 4th year (after the fourth task during the tri-wizard tournament, she got bit by a werewolf when walking into the forbidden forest ━━━ she doesn't tell her parents or her friends about her lycanthropy. i imagine her to be friends with luna, ginny, and neville btw ━━━ speaking of her parents, she had a good relationship with them, esp with her mom. after 4th year though, her relationship with them is very stale. ━━━ she has a lot of trauma, from being bite by a werewolf and the start of voldemort's reign, which leads to 2nd wizarding war. if you have this plot, please make sure to do as much research about trauma as possible because if not, it will cause readers to have an inaccurate understanding of how trauma affects a person's life. ━━━ hope starts off doing ballet as a hobby, to distract herself but then, she uses ballet as a coping mechanism. a wear to unclench, not only physically but mentally. it's calming; takes her worries away for a while. ━━━ theodore and hope meet in the room of requirement when hope is practicing. the way the room of requirement works is when you walk "past the area of the door three times, thinking of what you need." (harry potter wiki). ━━━ theodore has #daddyissues and needed some time alone. so, he goes to the the room of requirement, wanting a distraction or some good company. which so happened to be hope; soulmates <3 ━━━ hope was really embarrassed, while theo was very confused. ━━━ after their first visit, they are a bit confused because at first, they thought they'd be the stereotypical gryffindor/slytherin, but they got along. surprisingly. ━━━ i'm not so sure if hope would participate in the whole final battle in order of the phoenix, but i don't think she would. ━━━ i'm not so sure if theodore was apart of it? i think he was? idk
