Chapter 1: The Abandoned First Prince who was Forgotten by all

"Your majesty," Konrad, a young official said kneeling, "What have you summoned me for?" It was the first time his majesty was summoning him.

"Deal with the Prince."

Konrad gave a confused looked. The Prince? Which Prince? Prince Caspian or Prince Asher?

Konrad tentatively asked, "Which prince are you-" he began but was cut off when he saw the icy cold glare the emperor gave him.

"The firstborn, Caspian, dispose of him." The emperor said with no hesitation.

His aid eyes widened in shock. Dispose him? Surely, I must have misheard, he thought.

"Dispose of him."

"What exactly do you mean by dispose of him?" Konrad asked with caution. Does he mean to kill his royal highness, Caspian? He was only a 7 year old child! Although he was born with a weak magical constitution, Konrad could not believe his majesty would want to kill his own child.

Perhaps the rumors were true. 7 years ago, there was a bloody massacre in the Palace and the only survivors were the Emperor, his 2 sons and the former royal concubine, who is now the current Empress. It is rumored that the Emperor killed former Empress, Orelia. Empress Reyna's son, Prince Asher was talented, he was far beyond his age. He had powerful fire magic, just like all the previous Emperors.

Compared to Prince Asher who is the same age, Prince Caspian is nothing in comparison. Prince Caspian did not inherit his father's fire magic and does not have any magical power not to mention he is just a bunch of bones. He was malnourished from all of the mistreatment from the slaves.

"You know what I mean, kill him, he is useless."

But this was too much! What a cold bloodthirsty monster! Konrad thought.

Konrad gulped. "..Your Majesty...If I may?" He began. "I think you will not benefit it if you kill him after all it will give the people unrest."

The emperor gazed sharply at Konrad. Sweat began to drip down his forehead but he continued, "If the reason why your majesty wants to kill Prince Caspian because you think he is seen as your weakness then might I suggest 'that' place?"

'That' place was an old abandoned wizard's tower. It was where prisoners were taken to be killed or tortured.

The emperor simply waved his hand. He honestly did not care what happened to his firstborn, after all his second born was sure to become heir.

"Prince Caspian shall be locked away on the top floor of the wizard's tower, he will NEVER step a foot outside" The Emperor proclaimed. "Don't forget to put the tracker on him." He commanded.

Soon 12 years has passed and many have forgotten the existence of the abandoned first prince...
