Chapter 3

With a couple years of being a side kick Y/N had finally become a pro hero landing the 20 spot in the ranks. She was finally a hero. Her dreams were accomplished. But she felt like something was missing, she felt like it was a void in her chest that was hard to fill no matter what she did. One night her and Aizawa were on patrol together. They were walking around the streets Y/N was quiet for a while, "you're quiet again." Aizawa said breaking the silence. She looked at him and sighed "Sorry, I'm just thinking." she stopped in her tracks for a second "WAIT DON'T YOU LIKE THE QUIET?!" she asked. He nodded and stopped in his tracks as well "I only pointed it out because you're quiet when something is bothering you and you're my friend so I have concerns for you. She looked at him and chuckled a bit "It's just I accomplished my dreams and all the work ive done over the past 16 years is paying off but it's like there's a void in my chest that only gets bigger by the day" she looked down and placed her hand on her chest. Aizawa looked at her and sighed "I know the feeling, it's going to be alright I promise" he said holding his hand out. She took his hand and looked at him "When dose the feeling go away?" she asked. He placed his other hand on her shoulder "I'll let ya know when it happens, It's different for everyone. That's something else life threw at you to work on. To keep you busy from the hardships of life." he smiled slightly. She looked away and sighed "I guess you're right. I'll just focus on my hero work for now." she started walking again. Aizawa sighed and followed behind her.

They walked in silence as Y/N heard a stick crack. She picked her head up and looked around "All your kids are asleep right?" she asked as her vectors came out. Aizawa stood behind her as his scarf came undone "Yeah they should be." he said holding his stance "Maybe it's a critter if some sort?" he questioned before Y/N saw a blue light come toward her she froze in place as she knew who it was. The blue flames rushed to her before Aizawa pulled her away with his scarf and threw her behind him. A figure slowly crept out of the woods "Well well well, What do we got us here?" he chuckled and rubbed the back of his head. Y/N's eyes widened as she took a step closer. She backed away as she shot her vectors toward him. He Jumped up and moved to the side. "Come on Y/N, I know everything about you and you  know nothing about me." He chuckles and a purple and black portal appears behind him as he disappears. Y/N started running toward it  as she tripped and fell into it. 

It lead her to  a rooftop. She looked around for the stranger "Hey there Little mouse." her eyes widened. She looked back to see the tall slender male that attacked her "L-Little mouse?..." her eyes swelled up with tears. He looked at her and chuckled "miss me little mouse?" he crossed his arms looking at her up and down. Y/N growled and shook her head "Who the hell are you anyway?" she asked circling him. He laughs a bit "Ouch hurts that  an old friend doesn't even notice me anymore." he chuckled. Y/n growled and clenched her fists and ran up behind him. He moved as she fell on her face and picked her head up "Who are you, if you're going to kill me let me at least know who you are first." she said as her voice chocked up a bit. He kneels to her "Just remember the name Dabi next time ok?" he stood back up and started walking away she grabbed his leg and lifted herself up pulling him with one of her vectors sending him flying across the rooftop. He growled and shot a blue beam at her. She jumped up but Dabi's flame hit her side as she didn't feel the pain, she landed and ran to him with her vectors out. As she got close enough Dabi grabbed her neck and started squeezing her neck before he slammed her head to the ground "I wasn't planning on hurting you but at this point you've given me no choice. Dabi's lit a blue flame in his hand before a red flame came between her and Dabi. Endeavor stood there and stared at him, "Let her go." he said before he started walking closer. Dabi released Y/N from his grasp. She stood up and backed away to the edge keeping her balance. Dabi looked at her and gave a grin "Now you got two options get me or" he cut himslef off sending a beam at y/n. She was struck in the side again before losing balance, "Help your partner. Endeavor ran to Y/N before she fell off the roof, Endeavor growled and  looked at Dabi before they started fighting. 

Y/N opened her eyes watching as the blood from her body and head flew upward with her long H/C hair flowing. She her tear fell off her face as she held her hands out "I did it Isabelle, I was a hero, Thank you mom." she thought to herself as she closed her E/C eyes before everything went black. Hawks flew as fast as he could and caught her before she hit the ground. He flew up and looked at the girl in his arms before his eyes widened "It's you..." he growled before looking away and flew to the rooftop where Endeavor and Dabi were fighting. Hawks looked at him holding Y/N in his arms with tears in his eyes a bit "Where did he go?" he growled. Endeavor looked at the girl in his arms as the blood fell the floor "You need to take her to Aizawa for her to be taken to the hospital." he said and jumped of the rooftop. Hawks stood there for a second and looked at her moving her hair out of her face before he  opened his wings before flying off of the rooftop with her in his arms. He landed in front of Aizawa and held her out to him "Please make sure she's going to be ok." he said. Aizawa took her and nodded before walking away to take her to the hospital. Endeavor came up behind him placing his hand on his shoulder "I'm assuming she's the one?" he asked. Keigo nodded and turned away "Yup that's her" he started walking and looked up smiling softly "Y/N."
