(Kakashi x Reader )

The Path Of Life

Y/N's POV
I groaned in discomfort, as I woke up. The room I was in was extremely bright, and my eyes had trouble adjusting. Wait. Where am I? AND WHY THE FUCK IS IT SO DAMN BRIGHT?!? My thoughts were interrupted, as I felt intense pain coming from my throat area. Then, everything came back to me. I remembered getting attacked, and then strangling me, literally almost to death. That's basically all I remembered. Now, to find out where I am... I thought to myself. I sat up, realizing I was on top of a couch, in the middle of a large living room. I scanned the area. Hm. There's no one here.

I got up off the couch, and roamed the house. The living room led into the kitchen, which eventually led to the front door. I wanted to leave, and go back home. However, I also wanted to know who's house this was, because my curiosity always got the best of me.

As I turned a corner, I noticed a small coffee table. On top of it, was a photo that had Minato, Obito, Rin, and Kakashi. Using my own common sense, I figured out this was Kakashi's house. It was pretty big, and quite impressive. I eyed the picture once again, seeing young Kakashi smiling under the mask, with his teammates. I then realized how hard it must be for Kakashi to know all his teammates are dead. I stared at the picture lost in thought, but I eventually put down the photo, and started walking out.

On my way out the door, I saw a small note attached to it. I raised my eyebrow in confusion, as I grabbed the note.

Y/N,

I know this may be quite confusing for you, but can you meet me at the park at 6:00? I left early this morning to train my students, but I need to talk to you.

After reading his note, I checked my watch, realizing it was 10:00am. rolled my eyes, as I put the note back where I found it. I didn't want to come off as rude, so I made the decision to go when it was time. I mean, he basically saved my life! Who knows what would've happened if he didn't come in time. Until then, I went back to my apartment. In all honesty, I had no idea how far Kakashi's house was away from mine. Hell, I didn't even know which direction to go to find my apartment. But, this area did look rather familiar, so I left this street. Eventually, I made it to a place I recognized a bit more.

Finally, I made it back to my apartment complex. It was a pretty far walk, but I literally never have time to exercise with work, and college, so it was nice. I grabbed my keys, and unlocked the door. I stretched, as I placed my keys down onto a nearby counter. My apartment was extremely tiny, but I was the only person living there, so I didn't mind. My living room was basically two steps away from the kitchen, and my bedroom had the restroom inside it.

My room was decorated with knickknacks, and posters, and a series of string lights across the ceiling. Since I didn't feel like going to school today, I decided to do my online work instead. I took a look at the list of assignments I had, and realized I had four late assignments. I internally groaned, realizing I had to make those up, along with a few other ones.

Third Person POV

After many hours of agitating assignments, Y/N had gotten most of them done. She stretched, feeling pleased with herself. Once she had realized it was almost time to meet Kakashi, she put on other clothes so she could look more presentable. She rummaged through her closet, pulling out a black t-shirt, which she tucked into a pair of light-wash jeans. She brushed her smooth hair, and put it up into a high ponytail. As she was about to leave, she came to the sudden realization.

Which park does he want to meet at! It could've been considerate if he told me a specific one... Y/N thought to herself. She decided to look for her phone, so she could ask him which one, but she realized she didn't even have his number in the first place.
