Chapter #4

It was a sunny cold morning in the city of Chicago, many cars drive by the barbershop, Calvin pulls up to the barbershop,  turns off the old school car, he gets out of the car, walks towards the door to the barbershop he unlocks the door to the barbershop, Calvin close the door behind him as he walks in the barbershop, Calvin puts the keys in his pants pocket,  turn on the lights to the barbershop walks over to his station to get ready for the day a few minutes later Eddie comes through the door of the barbershop,"Hey Eddie, good morning how's your daughter?", Calvin asks Eddie while he gets his hair clippers and shaving knifes ready for the customer's, *she's doing ight, her damn husband is acting up again and I kept telling her, that it's your life you choose what you want to do with your life.", Eddie walks over to his chair he sits it in, jimmy, Isaac and few others come through the door, everyone went the locker room and put their things away. Ricky comes in the barbershop with a puffy face due to his sleeplessness nights, "...U-um is everything ok Ricky?",  Calvin asks in a concerned tone, Ricky didn't say a word he just walks in the back to put up his stuff in his locker he slams the door with so much force the whole barbershop shook a little due to old foundation, everyone looked at one another with shocked expressions on their faces,  "Alright everyone just goes back to your work.",  "I'll go talk to him" everyone turned their heads to the director of where the last voice was coming from, there stood Terri standing by the front door of the barbershop she was wearing her barbershop work uniform with her big fur coat "Alright well don't belong because y'all need to be at your stations." Calvin said while sitting in his chair while he waits on a customer to come in to get a haircut, Terri walks in the locker room, Ricky was putting his stuff in his locker Terri was standing behind Ricky was still facing his locker putting up the stuff he closes his locker he turns around to see a sad Terri "Should you be with your boyfriend?" Ricky asks in an angry voice with a very furious face expression on his face, "I thought today was your day off anyway?" Ricky asks with an annoyed tone in his voice "Calvin allowed me to come in today and also I wanted to make some more money so..." Terri said with her hands in her back pockets with nervous in her body language, "Look I just wanted to say-." Terri was cut off by Ricky when he was making his way out of the locker room Terri stopped Ricky is his tracks by grabbing his right arm she gripped his right arm "Ricky please listen to me I-." Terri said in a sad tone, Ricky sighs "What do you wanna say." Ricky said in a frustrated tone Terri looks down at the floor, "I'm sorry, I know you don't care for my apology but it's not that simple I can't just pick up my stuff and leave." Terri said in a quiet voice out of nowhere Terri gasped in a startled gesture Ricky grabbed both sides of her face, he speaks "Yes you can! Don't you ever say that.", Terri was speechless well probably because her face was unable to move due to Ricky's strong hands Ricky stares into Terri's eyes, "Ric-." Terri was cut off by a pair of pink lips on hers she went weak due to the electronic feel from Ricky's kiss Ricky pulls away, "You're coming home with me tonight and that's final." Ricky said while putting his forehead on Terri's they both pull away Ricky lets go of Terri's face he makes his way out of the locker room Terri let a tear fall from her face she quickly wiped it away from her face Terri walks over to her locker, she goes to put in the combination to unlock her locker, she put her black fur coat on the little hook that was inside the locker, Terri hang up the coat on the hook then closes the locker door. Terri makes her way out of the locker room and on to her station a customer walks over Calvin's chair he wanted to his hair the man name was Jackson Calvin and Jackson were chatting with each other about something that happened on the west side, Terri gives Ricky glances Ricky doesn't notice because he was picking out a different blade for the hair clippers to cut his customer's hair.

Everyone was going on about their business and chatting along with one another, on the other hand the chatting went silent when a certain ringing bell noise rung through everyone's ears their heads went towards the direction to the doors to barbershop the doors went with a slam making the blinds hit against the windows Terri's heart sped up it was Kevin standing at the front of the barbershop Dinka looks at Terri Ricky looks at Danka, Terri gives Calvin a (Please make him leave) look, Calvin speaks "Aye Kevin, Terri's busy right now. So you're gonna have to come back later on." Calvin said in deep tone Kevin and Calvin share a deep stare with one another, everyone was silent, everyone was staring at Kevin and back at Calvin. Terri stares at Ricky with fear in her eyes, Ricky gives Terri a (I got your back) look, Kevin notices the two individuals giving the eye contact that tells how they were giving one another the expression, Kevin rushes towards Terri in a tackle, Terri immediately moves backwards to prevent Kevin from getting a hold of her Ricky reacts he pushes Kevin away from Terri so he wouldn't be able to grab her, everyone tries to grab Ricky off of Kevin, Ricky was punching Kevin they both were on the floor with Kevin on the floor and Ricky on top punching at his face Calvin, Jimmy and Dinka grab Ricky off of Kevin, "Get him out of here.",  Eddie said while pointing towards the door, Ricky tries to go after Kevin while Kevin was making his way to the door, Ricky was being held back from the guys that were in the barbershop
