The Strange Student (Severus Snape x Reader)

Chapter 3

Y/N's POV:

I woke up in the hospital wing and I started panicking. "It's alright, sweetie. You're okay.", Madam Pomfrey said as she sat by my side. I calmed down and asked, "What happened to me? Who brought me here?" Madam Pomfrey gave me a cup of tea. "You got attacked and Professor Snape brought you here with Professor McGonagall.", she said.

I took a sip and someone came in. "Good morning, Professor Lupin.", Madam Pomfrey said. I looked up and saw Professor Lupin. He was holding chocolate bars. "I just want to see if Y/N Jones is okay.", he said.

Madam Pomfrey got up and said, "Well, I'll leave you too alone since I have fetch something." She left and Professor Lupin sat beside me. "Are you alright, darling?", Professor Lupin asked. I nodded and then he gave me chocolate.

"Eat up. It will make you feel more better.", he said with a smile. I took a bite of the chocolate and I became relieved. "I see that you're awake.", Professor Snape said. I nodded and he walked over.

"I believe this is yours.", he said. Professor Snape gave me the jar of flowers and I quickly grabbed it. I looked at the flowers. I kissed and hugged it. "May I ask, why are you attached to those flowers?", Professor Lupin asked.

I looked at him and said, "These flowers were picked by my grandma. She wanted me to keep it to remind me of her and my grandpa." Professor Lupin held my hand. "That sounds lovely.", he said.

I smiled and hugged him. The bell rang. "Well, I gotta go teach a class. I'll visit you during lunch.", Professor Lupin said. He left and Professor Snape was still here. He gave me two books and quickly left. I looked at the two books.

The first book was about dragons and the second book was about hippogriffs. I opened the first book. I started reading about it and took another bite of the chocolate.

I was woken up by someone booping my nose. I opened my eyes and Amelia waved at me. "Sorry for waking you up from your nap.", she said. The second book was on my lap, opened. I was already halfway through the book and I asked, "What time is it?"

Amelia looked at the clock, "3 o'clock." I rubbed my eyes and continued to read. "Will you stop reading for a moment?", Amelia asked. I looked up and I slowly closed the book. "Anyway, I got you lunch.", she said. Amelia gave me a bag and I looked inside.

There was a ham sandwich, custard tart, strawberries and rice pudding. "Wow, you got my favorite foods.", I said. Amelia nodded. I started chomping on the sandwich and Amelia was shaking me. "Hey! Slow down, will ya?", she said.

I swallowed and she gave me a glass of pumpkin juice. I took a sip, "Did you survive your classes without me?" Amelia started fake crying and said, "I barely survived and I missing you so much."

I rolled my eyes and ate a strawberry. "Stop exaggerating.", I said. "Am I interrupting you two?", Professor Snape asked as he walked in. Amelia got up and shook her head. "No, Professor Snape. I was about to leave.", she said.

Amelia hugged me and left. Professor Snape walked over to me. "How are you feeling, Ms. Jones?", he asked. I took a sip of the pumpkin juice and said, "I'm feeling better. I should be able to resume my classes tomorrow." Professor Snape nodded.

"Did you finished the books I gave you?", he asked. I gave me the first one and said, "I finished the first one and I'm halfway through the second book." I wiped my hands with a napkin and started reading.

Professor Snape grabbed my wrist. I looked up and tilted my head. "What is it, professor?", I asked.
