"She took, everything that I love... And you are going to pay for her mistake" it was dark and I couldn't make out the woman's face who spoke to me
"W-what?" I stuttered not understanding what was going on
"So clueless you foolish, foolish boy. Did you actually think, that anyone, could love a monster?" She laughed
"I'm not a monster" I cried, shaking
"No" she laughed again "but you will be" I saw a pair of blood red eyes and it lurched at me as my head hit the floor and I blacked out.
"DAN! Please! WAKE UP!" I heard a voice shout and I immediately shot up from the ground. I was on the bus floor breathing heavily and heart racing as sweat beaded on my forehead. "Thank god your alright! I heard you talk in your sleep, saying things about... Not being a monster, I tried to wake you up but you screamed and fell on the ground! Are you ok?" Dylan said from over me. I just shook my head and let a few tears escape my eyes. Even my sub conscious believes I'm too much of a monster to be loved.
"N-o... I-I don-t fe-el ok" I shook out in unstable breaths I didn't know I could feel this emotional.
"Shhh, it's ok Dan, it was only a bad dream. Anything said, or that happened is not true and not real, it's ok" Amanda rubbed my arm and looked me in the eye trying to calm me down
"You're right, sorry if I scared you guys" I rubbed my head from the fall and Liam helped me up of the ground, I smiled as a thanks and he did in return.
"Dan, you sure you're ok?" Jaimee asked and I nodded
"It was just a bad dream. I don't know where that came from but it's gone now" I breathed slowly and deeply catching my breath, my shaking stopped. "Thanks you guys"
"It's no problem dude" Chandler gave a half smile
Just then the bus came to a stop at supernatural and we all loaded off and into the pizzeria.
"Hold on guys, I'll just go get my apron, the usual?" Dylan smiled and the rest of the crew nodded as she left behind the counter
"It's her pizzeria, she runs the place, no permanent employees but we do help her quite often, she doesn't have much" Iris gave me a half smile as she said this and I gave her a confused look
"What do you mean by she doesn't have much?" I asked as we all went to sit down in a booth
"She... Has no home. Just the pizzeria. It's... Really complicated" Suzi said and then stared off at the wall, looking in deep thought.
"Amanda... Does this have to do anything with what you said in the forest earlier?" I raised my eyebrow and she sighed
"Yea, you see... We offered her a home with us, none of us are actually blood sisters, we are all adopted, Coral took us all in for different reasons. But for some reason, Dylan, can't be with us, she turned down Coral's offer" Amanda bit her lip and looked down, her fringe hiding her eyes. Liam scooted next to her and hugged her side, she smiled gratefully at him.
"Why can't she?" My curiosity was getting the better of me and I should have stopped but I didn't.
"She-" Kora started but immediately shut up as Dylan walked back into the room with 4 pizzas along her arms and a smile plastered on her face
"So what are we talking about?" Dylan smiled and I looked to the others for help
"We were just discussing what inventions we wanted to show Dan once we get done eating" Sarah covered with a smile
