SOPHIE'S POV

It was..........Gethen.

"Hello, Miss foster" Gethen said in his raspy voice. "So nice to see you after almost  a year"

"Ugh.. Why are you here?" I asked. I was trying to play calm but I was freaking internally.

" I am surprised you asked me that question, you know why I am here. Did you think we were gone or something?" He laughed a evil laugh.

" Umm...To kidnap me? Or do you want to join our side?" I said cringing at my own joke, if you can even call it one.

He laughed again and said "Oh, You are very bad at things like this, I am here or should I say we are here......."

At this many other hooded figures came from behind me and from all other directions and surrounded me.

"Shocked Sophie? or Surprised we planned this so well?" He said.

I had to admit that I was shocked as well as surprised........ Why is he stalling me like this when he could just whisk me away and go to who knows were.....

" before you get lost in your own little thoughts, I wanted to tell you that we have a new shade--" he said the last word with power or was that pride.....I flinched. "--She is even more powerful than Umber or even two Umber's combined together---" He paused a moment probably to enjoy the fear in my face."--and you are gonna get the honor to meet her..... The first outsider to meet her" He laughed and then continued. "Meet Amaya our new shade"

At this a women almost as tall as Sandor came from behind gethen. Her face was covered from the hood she wore, The neverseen hood with an white eye symbol.

" Hello Sophie" her voice was surprisingly sweet and melodious for a shade or for a creepy person. "And now Gethen lets get to buissines fast!" She commanded gethen.

He seemed just as shocked as me when Amaya commanded him. But Amaya didnt seem to be bothered by this and she continued looking at me or I thought she was looking at me. I really couldn't tell cause she was wearing a hood.

" Well now Sophie, Gethen is gonna ask you some questions and you are gonna answer them, if we are not satisfied with your answer I will call the shadowflux and things won't be pleasent atleast for you" I flinched. "Gethen start, we don't have all day and I really wanna remove this Hood, I don't see why this girl shouldn't see my face." she complained.

Gethen seemed like he wanted to murder Amaya but he turned to me and said "Ok, Sophie let's start, are you ready?". I stared open mouthed at him, when did he started asking me if I was ready and that too for torture, I had a feeling tht even if they were satisfied with my question they are gonna torture me anyways.

I managed to mumble out " Yeah?".

"Ok, Where is your creator?, The bloated one, I don't believe he is dead".He asked.

"he is dead" I said. Gethen nodded at this and Amaya called shadowflux and seeped it into my body. It hurted so badly that tears formed in my eyes and everything became blury.

" Now now do you want to get hurt or possibly loose one of your part? answer my question and we will let you go, Where is the Forkle guy?".

"He is not here anymore, He is dead!" I said. Another blast of shadowflux hit me, it was like as if something is tearing apart by body.

" oh oh sophie ,you will never learn, You always sacrifice yourself for others and this is what happens to you everytime" Gethen said in a venomous voice. Another blast seeped throught my chest and my whole body.

I really wanted to tell him the truth and end this pain, But I can't let Mr.Forkel suffer because of me, They will kill him.

Instead I said "you saw with your own eyes, he was badly injured and he died on the spot".

" then why did you never conducted a planting for him in wanderling woods"

Oh shoot! " Because......... He didnt want others to see his real identity.. We conducted  secret planting."

"As if!" Amaya spat. "I know.. We all know the Bloated guy is still alive, Don't you dare lie to us"

Another wave of shadowflux hit me, I really coudn't take it anymore. I wanted to cave in , tell them that forkle had a twin and everything, But i can't betray him or anyone else after everything they had done to me.

"I am telling the truth" I tried to protest but another wave hit me and Darkness took over me, The last thing I remembered was Gethen telling "She is useless" and then everthing went blank.
