A Oath Forged Of Undying Will

Chapter 1: An odd begining

Austin Pov:
It was around four o'clock standard time for getting out of school and it was the weekend so I was justifiably excited to get the hell out of there. My school experience hasn't been the greatest site I had friends good ones at that but I've always felt a bit disconnected and well thanks to that day I was permanently disconnected from them all. The road in front of the school was always busy with people getting picked up or driving themselves home and today instead of taking the bus I had decided to get my older brother to pick me up. I waited on the sidewalk for him for a few minutes as a large cargo truck started to come speeding down the hill that the sidewalk was on. I instinctively tried to run and jump as far away from the speeding vehicle that I say was turning off road straight towards me. Sadly I wasn't fast enough and the large  truck slammed into me and tip over on its side crushing me under it and well to say I couldn't believe what had happened would be an understatement. In that moment I was filled with so many emotions rage, regret, fear, wonder but most of all a undying will to try and stay alive and sadly it wasn't enough and on that day I died.

Or at least I should have as I laid under that truck crushed I heard a voice it was feminine in tone and spoke out to me
"Do you wish to continue living?"
My eyes widened in shock as in that moment I felt my mind was still alive and that time around me had stopped all the pain in my body had stopped with no idea what was going on and seemingly unable to speak I answered in my head
"Of course I do"
The voice responded with an question that I didn't really understand fully at the time and so I answered with an inaccurate answer
"Then tell me what are you willing to sacrifice to kept living?"
"To keep living I'll give up everything"

"Then will you give up your afterlife to gain a new life in a new world in exchange you will become humanities guardian after death?"
In that moment So many questions where coming to me but I only vocalized one
"Why me what makes me worthy?"
"I believe one of my guardian deserves to finally be at rest after his millennials of service and you will take his place his powers will be yours as well as his world of blades and why you is simple you have the will to survive, the will to fight and most importantly the will to kill for what must be protected so are you sure you wish to accept this bargain?"
My mind became even more jumbled but to confirm something I began to believe I asked a question that if she was referring to that man I had seen in one of my most beloved series
"What was the name of that guardian?"
"His name was Shirou Emiya"
With that response my decision was made
"Then I accept your offer I will become a guardian after my second death"
I felt almost a sense of relief come from the voice as it next spoke
"Then Austin with my power you will be revived"
The next moment I felt nothing it was as if my whole body was nothing but a void and in the next I felt dirt beneath my feat and could open my eyes to see the world I was now inside of

It was a world of endless blades covered in blue and grey flames with a weapon placed in almost every single cubic foot of ground and I say many weapons I never thought I'd see with my own eyes, Ragnell, Falchion, Rebellion, Yamato, the buster sword, Aymr, Balmung and many more laid before my eyes
"So this is unlimited blade works huh I guess I'm here as a waiting room of sorts?"
"Indeed you are boy" I jerk back in surprise I look behind me to see a tall man clad in black body armour and a red mantle and slicked back white hair none other than Shirou Emiya. He stood behind me stoically his steel grey eyes staring at me
"So your the boy you Aliya is deciding to Replace me with after you die huh not exactly what I expected" I look over at him still shocked and unsure of what exactly I should do fortunately he kept talking
"It won't be long until you are sent to wherever Aliya wishes to put you so good luck kid" and with that he dematerialized and I started looking around my current environment.
I walked amongst the endless weapons looking them all over with a smirk on my face before I felt my body begin to feel like it was disappearing again
"Looks like I'm going to my new home then well let's see where I'll end up"
After a few moments I could feel a night sky around me and the cold breeze of the wind on my body and as I opened my eyes all I could see was the moon

"You've got to be kidding right?"
I ask with a smirk on my face
