Chapter 9.2 - School Festival

I walked out of the restroom and immediately saw Regine clinging onto Nicolo like a bitch- I meant a dog. Well, bitch and a female dog are the same things anyways. Why is she so obsessed with Nicolo when she literally dated his brother last time? I have no clue! 

Kristeinne also arrived and waved at me. As I was walking forward to meet my friends, the girl from the restroom went past me and ran straight to Nicolo. I stopped in my tracks, trying to figure out what she's trying to do. "Nicolo!" she greeted and hugged him, making Regine lose her grip on Nicolo. 

Regine and Kristeinne starred in utter shock while I furrowed my eyebrows. I walked to them while they focused on the pair. "Uh, excuse me? Would you mind?" Regine said in a sassy tone and the girl furrowed her eyebrows. 

"Who are you? Are you his girlfriend?" the girl asked in disgust as she looked at Regine up and down. 

"H-huh?! How about you, are you his girlfriend?" The girl started laughing historically as we watched her go maniac mode or something. Nicolo shook his head in embarrassment then the girl stopped laughing. 

"Let's go?" the girl ignored the question and dragged Nicolo. 

"Woah- wait!" Nicolo tried to reason but to no avail. 

I looked at Regine and Kristeinne and asked, "Are we supposed to follow them?" Regine groaned and stomped her way to follow Nicolo while Kristeinne laughed and followed behind as well. I guess we'll be in a big group, how great. 

We follow them and Regine tries to butt in on the pair. "Can you stop clinging onto him?" Regine asked, not holding back herself. Speaking of clinging, she was the one clinging onto Nicolo like 3 minutes ago! I swear sometimes this girl is so self-aware but most of the time she isn't. 

"Ohh, let's try that!" the girl pointed at a shooting game with darts and Nicolo groaned. "I want to be with Miez--" Nicolo tried to argue but the girl insisted. 

"I want to play!" Regine tried so hard to butt in. 

"Miezel, let's play!" Nicolo exclaimed and I shook my head. The girl suddenly ran towards me and grabbed my hand and dragged me to Nicolo. "She helped me earlier, I like her," the girl whispered and Nicolo raised an eyebrow. 

"I- I really don't want to play," I tried to reason and the girl frowned. 

"Let me play!" Regine cheerfully said and pushed me away. I shook my head and sighed before walking to the next game. Kristeinne followed me while Nicolo tried to call out my name. 

"Oh my gosh, you're Miezel, right?" the person on the booth said and I raised my eyebrows. "Yes...?" I hesitantly answered. 

"Nice to meet you. I heard you helped a student from the teacher, right?" I nodded and he extended his fist. I extended mine and we fist-bumped and I laughed awkwardly.
