Broken Soul Lost Hope

Chapter 1

     Caleb woke to the sound of his alarm clock buzzing 9:00am, yawning, he sat up with messy brown hair. He got out of bed and walked over to his closet to change out of his purple footie suit(don't judge me or Caleb). A few minutes later of getting changed he stepped out of his closet. He wore a black long sleeve shirt under a purple t-shirt, gray Jean's, and white socks, of course since he cuts he had long fingerless gloves on. Caleb proceeded to walk to his door, looking at the calender, May 5, his brother's birthday.
     He smiled and opened the door, and walked downstairs to see his brother eating cereal. "Caleb! You're up!" Jack excitedly said, squirming in his seat. Caleb smirked and went to make cereal,"So, you ready for your big day?" Caleb asked, pouring the cereal and milk into the bowl. Jack nodded eagerly as he ate more, Caleb sat in the chair opposite to him. A door up stairs opened and out came Butch(The bitchy dad).
     Caleb began to eat nervously, he knew that since Jack was around, Butch wouldn't do anything. You see, Jack is Butch's favorite and he abused Caleb all because Clover died in a car crash. Butch made toast and started eating, the room was silent as Butch secretly glared at Caleb. After they were done eating, they got their shoes on and got ready to go to Jack's birthday surprise. Jack went to go get his shoes from his room upstairs and it gave Butch the opportunity to remind Caleb of Clover.
     "If you hadn't of distracted me Clover would still be alive and we wouldn't of crashed," Butch angrily murmured loud enough for Caleb to hear. The memory of what happened came back to Caleb, Jack had just been born, and Butch, Clover, and Caleb were going to see him. Clover was sleeping and Caleb had dropped something. Caleb was 5 at the time, and he kept asking Butch to get it. Butch finally gave in, and went to grab the toy, and that's when it happened.
     The car crashed of the road, flipping, then finally stopping on its side. Butch was knocked out, and Clover was dead, but Caleb was awake, pleading for Butch or Clover to  wake up. Back in the present, Jack Caleb and Butch were getting in their car. They were going to a place called Wolfy's Diner, a new birthday restaurant that opened two months ago. Now, as Jack's surprise, he would get to see this restaurant.
