Damen used to be a sleep paralysis demon who lived in limbo. His father hated him for not wanting to cause suffering to human sleep. His brothers told him to ignore his father, and his sister and mother tried to have him show the good in him. Damen listened to them, everytime his father would yell at him for 'being a mistake' he would yell back. Damen sorta had eyes, but they were unnatural in limbo, he often got bullied for them. They were white, his pupils were a black slit, it was sorta wide, but not by much.(I know this is weird, bare with me) Damen would often hide them, only showing them around his family. That's when, something happened...
The summoning pad had been activated, one SPD(short for sleep paralysis demon) would get summoned out of limbo. And that someone, was Damen, he stepped onto the pad, and one big bright light later, he was in another world. He opened his black void like eyes to find himself in a room, a girl was in front of him. Her eyes were a faded red and pink, her soul was a faded pinkish red, it looked like that took a lot out of her. "Are you alright?" Damen asked the girl, his voice was dark, but soothing at the same time. "Y-yes, I'm fine, just, tired," she answered shuffling to a soft rectangle on wood.(His words for a bed) "what's your name?" Asked Damen walking over to her. "My name is not important, my brother's is, can you make a promise?" She asked, looking at Damen. "Yes," Damen answered "Can you protect my brother, Caleb?" She asked and Damen nodded. She smiled, "Pinkie swear?" She asked, Damen gave a confused look, but went with, "pinkie swear," he answered. The girl showed Damen to her brother's room, and Damen melted into a puddle and slid under the door. The girl was giving a weird look, but shrugged off what had just happened. He reconstructed himself on the other side, looking at a small boy in the room. This must be Caleb, he thought, walking over to him, but unfortunately, the child couldn't see him. "Your to young to see me," Damen chuckled, "and if I'm supposed to protect you~" he summoned Caleb's soul, the child version of Caleb didn't notice. He then used a sorta spell his sister had taught him, it wasn't a linking spell, but it was similar. It was like a mark, to show that Damen was Caleb's gaurdian.(HE DID NOT BITE HIS SOUL) Damen took a finger and and had it go into the soul, and surrounded its core with a black liquid. He then took his finger out of the soul, and let it disappear back into Caleb's chest, he hadn't felt a thing. Flash forward a year, and that's when the crash happened, Damen had made it his oath, to protect Caleb from that day on. Whenever Caleb had gone to school, Damen would fade into his shadow, and prevent him from getting hurt. He remembered this one time, a kid was yelling insults at Caleb, and put his fist up to hurt him. Damen jumped put of his shadow and let his dark aura flow around Caleb a foot or two before the kid made contact. Then stopped, sensing the aura, he scoffed, mumbled things under his breath, and just walked away, leaving Caleb confused. Damen let his arms fall to his side as he sighed in relief, then faded back into Caleb's shadow. Then Caleb was killed, and Damen snapped, his eyes(?) had turned a glowing red and his mouth melted over itself. You guys already know what happened after that, but Damen never really told Caleb what he was. And a nickname Caleb gave to him was Demon, which annoyed him greatly. But then he started having feelings for Caleb and Shadow, but he was kinda a tsundere about it.

Yes I am making those 3 a ship, don't go into the comments saying 'But Caleb's 12 and their like what 28?' Caleb is technically 32, since he's been dead for twenty years. But anyway hope you enjoyed, the next Back story is coming in a while, I dont know what time it's coming out so bare with me, anyhoo, bye MetalSticks!
