Now Alya could be pretty chill at times. When she was giving herself stitches when someone called her a bitch. She's been through a lot of shit and often could hold her own pretty well, but finding out she was stuck in an apartment with three people who hated her only two days before for who knows how long with a psycho lady ready to attack at any moment, that got her worked up big time.

She tried to stay calm but when it felt like the room was both spinning and closing in at the same time. Stay calm, stay calm Alya. Repeated over and over again in her brain, she kept thinking the same thing, that it was okay, but it didn't feel like it. It felt like someone just dossed her lungs in gasoline and lit them on fire.

So where was she now, you ask. She was curled up under Marinette's clothes in the closet. In the darkest place in the apartment, she was losing it. Alya was curled up hiding for who knows how long. Meanwhile, in the kitchen, Marinette and Nino were having an impromptu meeting.

Marinette was sifting through her cabinets. "We could make spaghetti?" Marinette suggested. Look she had four people to feed, she needed something that she could make and everyone would be happy with her cooking.

"Yep. Spaghetti is awesome and delicious dude!" Nino exclaimed. A lot has happened in the last couple of months. It was crazy, this thing called life. One second you're happy and cracking inside jokes and the next your best friend is in the hospital after trying to kill herself, but now things were different again. "Hey, Marinette?"

She pulled out a large pot and filled it with water. "Yeah?"

"What happened to us?" Marinette flicked on the burner and leaned against the bar.

"What do you-"

Nino interrupted. "Don't say it. You know what I mean. What happened?" Nino paused to recall the best moments they had together. "Remember when we went to the Halloween dance together? I was Joker and you were Harley Quinn. You spilled punch on your skirt and started crying so I took you out into the hallway and danced with you so no one would see."

Marinette felt tears rise to her eyes. She nodded trying to push the sadness away. "I just don't understand what I did to make you push me away. We used to be best friends, I'd bring you flowers on the first day of school, make you soup when you were sick if I did something I am so sorry-"

Marinette tackled Nino in a hug unable to take it anymore. "I made a mistake, I never wanted to push you away, I just felt so alone... but I will never leave you again..." Pulling away Marinette wiped the tears from her cheeks. "...If you forgive me."

Nino pulled her into another hug. "Of course bestie!" There was a tender moment, Nino and Marinette made up, something long overdue. Nino was so happy to have his friend back, so many good memories could be made again.

"So you and Alya huh?" Marinette asked with a nudge, nudge.

Nino rolled his eyes with a smile. "Yep." He said popping the P. "You and Adrien?"

Marinette looked past Nino to Adrien sitting on the couch with his head in his hands. She really liked him, he liked her, but... it was just complicated. "No, me and Adrien... we're not a thing... well... I just don't know..."

Nino laughed. "Well, clearly he knows after that huge confession..." Then a thought hit Nino like a pile of bricks. He looked around the room looking for his girl but she was nowhere to be found. "Where's Alya...?"

Then as if things could get worse, suddenly the lights went out. The room was shrouded in darkness. Marinette walked up to the light switch on the wall and tried flicking the lights on but it was no use. "The powers out." She announced.

"Alright we can work with this, it's just off for a little while..."

Oh how they were wrong...
