TREASURE were celebrating Junghwan's birthday and were in the middle of a birthday V Live.
Jihoon: so today...what will we be doing for our maknae's birthday, jaehyuk-ssi?
Jaehyuk: yes today is our baby's birthday and we have decided to make scented candles for him, since he always smells so good.
Junghwan looked down shyly. The members laughed at his adorable behaviour.
Hyunsuk: okay so the teams will be divided this way. Mashiho, junkyu and doyoung are team 1. Jaehyuk, jihoon and I are team 2. Yedam, yoshi and haruto are team 3. And finally, asahi and jeongwoo are team 4.
Mashiho: okay so how will we do this? Where is the instructions' packet?
Doyoung handed him a manual.
Mashiho started reading it but kept mispronouncing some words in a cute way. Junkyu cuddles him and rubs his hair to show his affection, as usual.
Meanwhile Doyoung felt like he was third-wheeling.
Doyoung: let's start!
They began making their candles.
Junkyu: wah our maknaes are growing up now. Haruto, junghwan and jeongwoo have always been our babies. I can't believe they're growing up so fast.
Doyoung shoots junkyu a hurt look. Hyunsuk noticed his expression.
Hyunsuk: wah what a nice hyung. What about doyoung? He is our adorable maknae too.
Junkyu's face suddenly dropped. He realized he didn't mention doyoung and felt like he committed a blunder. He slowly turned to look at doyoung with a guilty expression on his face.
Jihoon: wow this is...this is what happens when you have a whole awkward "concept".
Yedam: doyoung is also our maknae, hyung!
The members started whining and complaining jokingly.
Doyoung sighed.
Junkyu: d-doyoung is also our precious maknae! I didn't forget! I...I just spoke too fast! Doyoung-ah I'm so sorry!!!
Doyoung: It's fine. We've always had an awkward concept going on anyway.
Junkyu clinged on to doyoung's arm with a sorry look on his face, as if asking for forgiveness.
Doyoung: fine fine it's alright i forgive you
He said that but deep down inside he did feel hurt.
The rest of the live continued with junkyu continuously babying mashiho and unintentionally ignoring doyoung, who almost became part of hyunsuk's team due to the frequent interaction with him since junkyu kept interacting with mashiho instead.
Junghwan: A fan asked if doyoung hyung and junkyu hyung really are close
Junkyu: of course we are! We know each other for 10 years now! We have been together for majority of our life! Right doyoung?
Doyoung didn't hear him since he was talking to hyunsuk.
Junkyu: doyoung?
Doyoung: ah yes, you called me?
The members burst out laughing.
Haruto: karma really do be like that
Junkyu pouted cutely like he usually did.
Junkyu: We are close, right?
Doyoung hesitated at first.
Doyoung: y-yes of course! We came from the same dance academy too!
Asahi eyed him suspiciously.
Asahi: hmm what was that hesitation before your answer.
Doyoung laughed it off.
