The New Girl

Chapter 1: Moving

"I'm gonna miss you so much Erina!" my best friend, Melody Sieber said. "Me too Camz." i said while crying. I called her Camila, or Camz, or Mila because we were like Camren (Lauren Jauregui+Camila Cabello) or as we were told so because of how close we are. She is the best friend anyone can ask for. She understands my feelings, she listens to my problems, she's there for me when anyone else isn't. I can't believe I'm moving. She lives in London and I (now) live in Holmes Chapel. -.- I didn't want to move, but my mom and my siblings were excited as hell. I don't even know why they're excited. Saddie's reason was because she was gonna be the new girl in her new school and that everyone's gonna notice her. She loves being noticed...unlike me. I'm the exact opposite of her. I'm very shy at first, but once you get to know me, I'm crazy, like litterally I will do anything. "I will call you when I get there Mila." I said as I hugged her tight. "You better Lauren." she said. She calls me Lauren. "I will, I promise." "We'll need to have a sleepover too." She said and I nodded. "Bye, I'll see you later!" I said. "bye!" she said as a tear rolled down her cheeks.
As I got in the car, I told my mom, "I don't want to leave London." I said as I crossed my arms and slouched in my seat. "Erina, you know we agreed to move to Holmes Chapel." She said as she buckled her seat belt. "No, I didn't agree to this. 4 of you did. Not me. You, Maddie, Saddie and Nolan agreed to this. Not me. I never wanted to leave London." I said. "Let's go make new friends!" My mom said, trying to cheer me up. "I don't want to move to this stupid Holmes Chapel or whatever. My heart belongs here, in London, where all my friends are and where most of our families are." I said. My mom sighed, annoyed, I'm guessing. "Erina! stop complaining! we're moving to Holmes Chapel right now and you can't do anything about it so zip it!" she said. I didn't say anything back because I'm too bummed to even argue with her.

My mom is a single mother. My dad...well, I'm not sure what exactly happened between my mom and him, but Maddie told me that Dad cheated on her so they went their separate ways. I don't remember Dad. I only saw him in pictures. I was about 2 or 3 when they split up I guess.

Maddie, the oldest sibling in our family, is 18 years old. Then there's me, 16 years old. Then my brother Nolan, who is 13 years old and my little sister Saddie, who is 12 years old. We're not much of a trouble maker, since we know our mom is stressed all the time with work and we don't want her to be more stressed, because that's bad for your health. We are half Japanese and half British. People find it pretty cool that we can speak Japanese and English. I find it normal.

Anyway, we've been in this car for about 3 hours when my mom said 'We're here!' and she parked the car. All of us ran out of the car to see the new house. To be honest, I am excited about the new house. I'm not excited about school, making new friends, and being 'the new girl' at the school. "Woah..." Nolan said. "I get the biggest room!" Maddie said. "Hey! No fair!" I say. "too bad, I'm the oldest." she said. "Mommy! that's not fair! Maddie gets the biggest room?!" Saddie complained to my mom. "yes sweetie, she has a lot more stuff than you." my mom said. "Then I get the second biggest." I said. "Let's all go inside." My mom said as she unlocked the house. We all rushed in and wow this place was HUGE. Us kids went upstairs to see the rooms and of course, Maddie gets the biggest room, but her room was HUGE. It was like half of the size of the living room, and the living room is hella big.
I went in my room, and it was BIG too, but not as big as Maddie's but I didn't care. Everything was already there, and I had enough room for everything and I still have enough room to put something's in, so I'm fine.
I decided to go outside and call Melody, since she asked me to call her when I get here.
As I was walking down the stairs and outside, I saw my mom talking to her...friend? "Oh this is Erina, my second oldest kid." my mom said. "hello Erina! I'm anne. you can call me Ms.Anne. I have a son named Harry and he's about your age! you should go meet him!" She said and smiled. She was nice. I just gave her a smile and my mom started talking again. I started walking around the coldasack as I pressed 'call' to melody. She picked up on the second ring. "Rina!! Are you there?" she asked. "yeah i am." I said. "how is it?" she asked. "well, the house is huge, but after that, not much. I miss London." I say. I was just walking around, talking to melody, when I spotted a cute boy. He had curly brown hair and he looked like he was a bit older than me. I couldn't really see his face, but he came out of the house next to mine and went to our house. "Mila, I'll give you a call back tonight. I have to go." I said. "alright Lauren. I miss you!!" she said. "I miss you too Camila!" I said. "bye!" she said and I hung up.
I walked towards our house and tried to get in as quickly as I can to avoid that boy and Ms.Anne, when my mom stopped me. "Erina! come here!" she said. I sighed and walked back, putting my iPhone in my back pocket. "Yes?" I ask. "This is Harry. The boy Ms.Anne was talking about." She introduced me to Harry. Wow...he is gorgeous. He has curly brown hair like I said just a few minutes ago, he has green eyes and he was showing his dimples. "Harry, this is Ms.Marina's daughter, Erina." Ms.Anne said. "hi." he said as he smiled. "Hi." I said awkwardly: "How old are you, Harry?" My mom asked. "16." he replied. "You're 16 too, Erina!" She said and I just gave her a look. "yeah? so?" I said. "Sorry, she's just not used to being new and she hates being new." my mom explained to Ms.Anne and Harry. I just walked into the house, ignoring. I didn't want to meet any people. I just wanna go back to London, WHERE I BELONG.
I went in the kitchen. Everything was already set up in this house. Even the fridge was filled up with food! It was heaven.
I grabbed an apple, and sat down on the couch, watching spongebob marathon on Nickelodeon. "Sorry, it's a mess in here." My mom said and I saw my mom, Ms.Anne and Harry walk in. I just ignored them and kept watching SpongeBob. "Rina, we're gonna have Lasagna today." My mom said. I smiled. Lasagna's my favorite food! "thank you." I said and watched SpongeBob again. Then they sat down on the couch. "Erina, why won't you go show Harry your room?" my mom asked. uhhhh no! Why would I want to? I said I don't wanna meet anyone and I JUST WANT TO GO BACK TO LONDON! after I eat my lasagna though. "okay..." I said awkwardly as I stood up and Harry followed me upstairs. I didn't know what to say. How did I even become friends with my other friends in London? Do I introduce myself first? Do I say 'hi my name is Erina.'? I don't know...
