Lexie was up early this morning, she was sitting in the living room watching some tv and drinking coffee when Christina burst through the door up to Meredith's room. Lately, Meredith and Christina have been reading her mother's journals, before passing them along to Adam to read. As Lexie sits there continuing to relax she hears the doorbell ring. She groans and stands up, walking towards the door. When she opens the door she comes face to face with a blond around Meredith's age.
" Is grey home?" the girl asks with a slight accent.
" yes?" Lexie replies confused.
Before she knows it the girl is pushing past her saying, " Death? Come on, where are you dead!?"

As Meredith sits in her room she sees an old friend bursting through the door.
" Death!' the girl says.
" Die! Oh, My God it been - -" Says Meredith with the girl finishing off the sentence by saying "Forever",
" You look like...DEATH!, " they say in unison laughing with each other.
Christina who is also in the bedsits there confused, and very jealous of Meredith's unknown friend.
" Uh hey. Uh...Who are you?" Christina asks, trying to sound cheerful.
The girl responds by saying, " I'm Sadie, who are you?"
" I'm...I'm Christina," she stutters out.
Then all of a sudden Saide and Meredith burst out laughing again, with Christina fake laughing with them.

"They went backpacking around Europe together or something...Before Med school. You know that woman all but kicked me out of the bed?" Christina says sitting down on the couch next to Lexie.
" God, that's terrible," Lexie says trying to fake sympathy for Christina, while still intrigued about her sister's past life.
" And Death? Meredith's name is not death. It's Mer." Christina says, like what she says is obvious.
" I really feel for you," Lexie says while yawning.
" How good of a friend can this woman be.", Christian asks.
" Best friends starting in junior year of high school, through college. They are roommates with one other girl for three years as well. The backpacking around Europe, that screams something Meri would do in a crisis. So my guess is that she went on the trip a little while after thinking I was dead and came back to the States when our mother got Alzheimer's." Adam says, walking into the living room, plopping himself down on a chair.
" how do you know all that?" Lexie says.
" Well, I assume you mean the part where she went to Europe, well that just because I know my sister extremely well," Adam responded.
" I am a much better friend," Christina says more to herself than everyone else in the room.

Adam was going into the hospital today to get his cast off, so he carpooled with Lexie, Mer, Alex, and Izzie. Sadie had also come along because she was a new surgical intern. 
"Hey we are being paged, I will see you later... Good Luck!", Meredith says to Adam.
" Good Luck? Getting a cast-off..." Adam says, smirking.
" Yup!" Meredith shouts as she goes down the hall.
Meredith heads down to the ER, where they get a patient who looks like a pretzel because he was found in a dumpster. After a long day, they rebuilt the patient's legs, but he still died. After the surgery, Meredith ran into Christina...
" So... Sadie was she or is she your person...Best friend whatever you call it.", Christina asks nonchalantly.
" Umm... She was one of my best friends. I also had Amy. They were there for me, we lost touch after we began Medical school... but you are my person Christina. You will always be my person.", Meredith says reassuring.
" Cool," Christian says, trying to hide any sentiment, but showing a small smile when hearing Meredith's words.
"Want to come for drinks later, it will be a group of us.", says Meredith.
" Sure, Christian says as they both head their separate ways, doing their job.

As Meredith is walking she runs into someone.
" Oh sorry," she says, realizing she bumped into Mark.
" hey, it is all good I have not seen you around as much lately, with this whole, brother thing. Who knew you had more secrets in your back pocket.", Mark says.
" Yeah, I guess...it is still hard to believe you know? I had accepted not too long ago that he was officially gone, that makes me a horrible person. I gave up, and now he's back and it is like nothing had ever happened.", Meredith says, confessing things she has not said much of.
" hey, well we in the dirty mistress club got to stick together, so if you ever need a friend, I am here," Mark says.
" Thanks, but refrain from calling me a dirty mistress in front of my brother he would not really appreciate it," Meredith says chucking.
" Okay... Got it." Mark says.
" If you want to could join a group of us are going for drinks tonight.", Meredith suggests.
" I will see if I am free, by big grey... Or are you middle Grey now?" Mark says laughing.
Adam is called into his appointment and he sits down on the hospital bed waiting for Dr. Torres to come in.
He hears the door open and dr. Torres walks in.
she says, "hi sorry for the wait  I was in surgery, time to get your cast off! "
" That sounds great!, "says Adam, "I can't wait to be able to walk freely again, you never know how much you miss something till you can't do it."
"yep examining this and looking at your leg looks good and you should be able to be walking you're so going to take it easy, but no more crutches or cast your arm is also perfectly healed. not that it's any of my business but, I heard you were a cardiothoracic surgeon and ours just quit. so I was just wondering if you're going to be applying for a job here. "says Callie. Adam looks at her and says, "okay I was thinking about it. It makes me a little nervous because I haven't practiced in a hospital setting for a long time, but it would be nice to stay close to Meredith.

As Adam enters the bar he goes and sits next to Merdith, along with Christina, Owen, Mark, Lexie, Sadie, Izzie, Alex, and George.
" Hi, you look great without your cast on, does it feel good to be walking again?", Lexie asks.
"Yeah, it is great." He says ordering a drink.
" So, I want to hear Meredith deep and twisty secrets," Alex says laughing.
" oh I got tons of great stories on Death, like the prank war.", Sadie says.
" Oh god, please don't!" Meredith says burying her head in her hands.
"OOh, please tell," Izzie says.
" yeah I need a refresher on this story", Adam says.
"I swear Sadie you better not tell this freaking story. "says Meredith through her teeth.
"so... me, death, and Amelia were all roommates.    the apartments across the hall from us contain three guys, and one week we found herself having a prank war with them. The first day We snuck into their apartment and poured flour all over them while they were sleeping. The next day they snuck into our room and Filled it with ball pit balls. The next day we filled full water cups outside the door so they couldn't get out without spilling the water or having to remove everything from the water cup. we continue to do this doing pranks back and forth,  but one day Meredith comes home very drunk and accidentally goes into the wrong apartment. she took off her shirt and pants and laid down on the couch, falling asleep instantly. we assumed not too long later the guys came out and found her sleeping and just a bra and underwear on their couch." Sadie says, everyone, continuing to listen. Merediths face growing a light pink color.
"  they assumed she had been drinking and accidentally entered their apartment, but took it as an opportunity to play a prank. They found some ants and wrote, call me sexy, on the back of them. Then her sex-friend dude put the pant on her. The next day, she found herself apartment confused with Jackson and Sam eating breakfast. She realized she had no shirt on, so she slipped out of the apartment leaving, the guys giving her a sympathetic smile. She found it so sweet that they didn't give her a hard time about coming home drunk and not be able to even recognize her own apartment.  when she got back she realized that she was going to be late for her class, she threw a shirt on and quickly went to class.  she was so confused because people kept calling her sexy on the way to class.  kids said stuff like hey sexy, where you going sexy, and she was so puzzled.  on her way out of class the professor calls her name out in front of everyone and asked her to wear more appropriate, and less distracting clothing to work.  she just looks around the classroom confused,  and that is when someone came up and whispered to her what was on her pants.  she was so embarrassed the prank war ended right then and there." Sadie says everyone laughing so hard they could barely breathe.  Meredith's face had now grown a cherry red color and was burying her head in her brother's arm.
" Nice Grey," Mark says.
They continued to talk and tell more embarrassing stories. Some about everyone. At the end of the night, they had all drank too much and laughed a whole lot.
