As the evening drew closer, you decided to take advantage of the weather because it was cooler than usual and go for a hike. There was a trail that led up a mountain, and there would be no harm in going out alone for a hike.
Slipping on tennis shoes, athletic shorts, and a tank top, you headed toward the door to your cabin, making sure that you didn't forget anything. You then left your cabin and continued out towards the trail.
"Ah! Hey, y/n, are you going out? ", you heard a voice call out. Turning around to see who it was, you were met with the silver-haired boy, Sugawara.
"Oh, hey Suga! Yeah, I am. Why do you ask?", you said, twiddling your fingers nervously.
"Can I come with?", Suga asked, giving you a slight grin that made your heart flutter.
You wouldn't deny your feelings for the pretty setter, and the thought of you going out with him made you feel all giddy. Well, even if it was just for a hike it still made you happy.
"O-Of course! I'd like that", you stuttered out, feeling your heartbeat increase by the second.
"Great! Let's go then!", Suga chirped. He then tugged at your wrist, pulling you next to him, making your face heat up.
"Alright then!", you yelped. You had never planned to be so close to Suga, and the way he acted just made you want to tell him your feelings even more. And thus, the two of you made your way to the trail.

At first, there was a comfortable silence, the two of you admiring the sky being painted in purple and orange. But as time passed on, there was some small talk between you and Suga.
It wasn't much, but you never wanted this moment to end. You wished all your past moments with Suga to be like this. You noticed how good Suga looked in the sunlight. Orange highlighting his silky silver hair. He looked, almost angelic under the warm sun.
"Isn't the sunset pretty today?", Suga said, dragging you from your thoughts.
"Mhm! I hadn't even noticed it", you nodded, quickly turning your gaze from him towards the horizon.
As the two of you continued to press on to the top, you often snuck glances at him while he rambled about the surroundings. Seeing him like this, you realized how much of a perfect time it would be to tell him how you feel.
You opened your mouth to call out his name when you felt your foot slip. There wasn't anything underneath it though. No rocks, sticks, nothing that could have reasonably made you fall.
It all happened in slow motion. Your body flew forward, and you braced for the impact of the ground, shutting your eyes tight.
But, instead of the ground, you were met with warmth.
. . .
Did I not fall?
. . .
Did I die??
. . .
Opening your eyes, you found that no, you hadn't fallen, or died. Instead, you were met with the hazel brown eyes of Suga. "I caught you in time", he reassured. A wave of relief washed over you. You were about to thank him when you realized something. How were you being held up?
Becoming fully aware of your surroundings, only to find out that Suga was holding you. And quite tightly at that.
"Umm S-s-suga?", you stuttered out embarrassment. As if on cue, Suga immediately let go of you
"Ah! Um, sorry about that", he laughed nervously. He still held your hand though.
His hand felt nice. It was almost even comforting. But, the embarrassment of your crush eventually hit you, making your face heat up and you pulled away quickly. Needless to say, you weren't able to look him in the eyes for the rest of the day.
When you did eventually get back to your cabin, you slid behind the front door. Hitting the floor, you let out a small squeal of excitement. Pulling out your phone, you scrolled to Suga's contact.
"Hewo Suga, I have to tell you something", you texted, before exhaustedly flopping on your bed
